And awww, despite the fact he almost left his friends to be swallowed by quicksand, I felt bad for Soren this chapter. I just talked to Joan via communicator chip. I told her of the traitor. She said that only three people were with her. Bruce, Bowser, and Joker. Kid: So it's one of those three... Patrick: Also, there's something else I should add. According to the information Joan gave me, Joker arrived 15 minutes before I received the message that there's a traitor in Joan's midst. Princess: Who was the message from? Patrick: The Punisher. He had gotten the information out of one of the assailants that attacked him. Princess: I see.... Lover: Did he say anything else? Patrick: No....Unfortunately, he was shot down before he could say anything else....At least, that's what appears to have happened.... Princess: .... Soren: .... Lover: Now's not the time to grieve. For now, we must find the traitor! Kid: Right! Patrick: I'd like you to meet my friend, Bruce, Kid: I thought Bruce was with Joan?! Patrick: You're talking about Bruce Banner. This is Bruce Wayne, aka Batman. *Batman appears out of the shadows* Batman: .... Kid: Why's he here? Patrick: He's one of the world's greatest detectives. With my intellect and his deductive skills, we'll figure out who the traitor is in no time. Batman: Let's get started. *Princess, Soren, Peppy, Kid, and Lover are already out the door* *Patrick runs out the door too* Patrick: What are you guys doing? Kid: We're going traitor hunting. Patrick: It would be best to take my jet then. Can any of you drive a jet? Soren: ....*raises his hand* Patrick: Alright then. I'll send you the coordinates while you're in the jet. *throws the keys to Soren* *the door slams shut* Patrick: I'm going to make myself some tea. Would you like some? Batman: .... Patrick: Tea for one then.... -meanwhile, back in the pyramid in Egpyt- *Bowser takes the glass skull off the stand* Silence Bowser: I got it! No booby trap! Oh yeah! I am the pwnzers! *Bowser accidentally knocks down an ancient artifact, initiating a booby trap that causes the entire pyramid to start collapsing* *Joan looks at him angrily* Bowser: Oh. Like you wouldn't have done the same thing? *the exits become sealed off* Joan: How do we get out of here? The exits are sealed! And this glass skull is the key to fixing the galaxy too! Bowser: Looks like we're screwed. Bruce: .... *Joker swipes the glass skull from Bowser's hands* Bowser: What are you doing?! Joker: If you all die, someone needs to keep this skull safe. See y'all! *Joker runs out the exit* Bowser: You dirty traitor! *the pyramid collapses* -in the jet- *Soren, in the cockpit, puts on his pilot hat and communicator headphones* *Soren places his staff in the seat next to him* *Soren is sitting on a pile of phonebooks because he wasn't tall enough to reach the steering wheel* Princess: I'm not so sure about this.... Kid: Don't worry. If anything happens, I'll protect you. Princess: Still.... Lover: We're a rag-tag group of fighters headed towards some country we've never heard of in a jumbo jet driven by a five-year old to stop a man whose face we don't know while the fate of the world rests on our shoulders. What is there to worry about? *the jet takes off* -back at the cabin- Patrick and Batman have just figured out who the traitor is. Patrick: Just to be safe....Are you absolutely sure about that? Batman: Based on everything you've told me, I'm almost certain of it. Patrick: We best hurry and inform our comrades of our little discovery. I doubt they'll be able to find the traitor by themselves. Batman: Agreed. Patrick: Excellent. Now let us contact Soren through the- *Patrick drops his teacup onto the floor* *the teacup shatters into several pieces* *Patrick falls down and hits the floor* Batman: Patrick? Patrick?! *Batman runs over to Patrick's motionless body* *Batman stops moving when he reaches Patrick's body* *Batman quickly grabs the shards of the broken teacup and jams them into his own neck* Batman and Patrick are now dead. This jet is awesome! There's a bedroom for each of us! Lover: ARE WE SURE SOREN IS A CERTIFIED PILOT?! Princess: No.... Lover: WHAT?! Princess: Don't worry! We'll be fine.... Lover: WHAT WERE YOU THINKING, LETTING SOREN DRIVE?! Kid: DON'T YELL AT MY WOMAN! Lover: STOP SHOUTING! Kid: SHUT UP! Lover: *crying* I'm gonna tell Princess on you! Kid: CAN YOU REPEAT THAT?! I CAN BARELY HEAR YOU! Lover: *crying* I'M GONNA TELL PRINCESS YOU WERE MEAN TO ME! Kid: WAH! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! *the light with the seat belt sign flashes on* Princess: We should put on our seat belts now.... *Kid gets off his seat and kneels down* Princess: What are you doing? Kid: PRAYING! Princess: .... -30 minutes later, in Egypt- *Joker is running away, holding the skull under his arm* *Joker is laughing maniacally* Joker: It really is a shame that they had to die. I was starting to like them too. *laughs insanely again* *Joker, not watching where he was going, accidentally runs into Lover* Lover: Joker! We finally found you! Kid: We've only been looking for 10 minutes.... Joker: Hello.... Lover: Is that the glass skull you got there? Joker: Uhhh....no? Lover: Get him! *Peppy and Kid grab Joker by the arm, not letting him go* Lover: Gotcha! Traitor! Joker: Traitor?! This is all a big misunderstanding! Lover: Misunderstanding my ass! *Joan, Bruce, and Bowser finally catch up to Joker* Lover: Joan! Joan: Lover! Hug! *Lover and Joan hug each other happily* Lover: We caught the traitor! Joan: Thanks Lover! Bowser..... Bowser: Yes. It's time! *Joan takes out her whip and swings it at Soren* *Soren gets hit by the whip and falls into the sand* *Joan throws a smoke bomb on the floor, obscuring everybody's view* *Joan and Bowser put on special goggles to help them see through the smoke* *Bowser takes out a mallet and hits Lover and Princess on the head* *Princess loses consciousness and Lover falls to the floor, gripping his bleeding head* *Bowser and Joan both take two motorcycles out of their small handbags and put it on the floor* (And yes, that defied logic.) Peppy: Damn! I want one of those handbags! *Bowser puts Princess on the motorcycle and drives away on the motorcycle* Joan: Perhaps next time, Lover. *Joan sticks out her tongue at Lover* *Joan drives away on her motorcycle as well* *Lover finally manages to stand up* Lover: Dammit....How could my beloved Joan betray me like that? Gah! *coughs up some blood* Kid: Hurry! We need to chase them! Bowser has kidnapped the princess! Peppy: Pssh. Like I didn't see that coming.... Lover: Who's going to chase who? They're going in two different directions! Kid: Peppy and I will chase Bowser. He has Princess. Kid has a very serious demeanor about him now. Lover: I'll chase Joan! Kid: No. You're wounded. Plus, you need to stay here and care for Soren's wounds. Lover: Then who will chase Joan? Bruce: ....I will.... Lover: Hm? You...talked.... Kid: So do I.....We all talk.... Lover: Bruce never talks...and when he does...it means he's angry. Kid: So? Lover: Let's just say....you won't like him when he's angry.... As Bruce's eyes glow green, the muscles in his body start bulging. His skin slowly transitions into a green color. Kid and Peppy start chasing Bowser. Peppy looks back at Bruce, who has now become the Incredible Hulk. Peppy: Wow....That's almost as freaky as me not telling anyone to do a barrel roll for an hour.... Hulk(Bruce): HULK SMASH!
