Junkhead
I think a 9 seems more appropriate. His 10 AS actually stops him from doubling enemies like Cavaliers at Chapter 4 (despite no one but Rutger doubling them, he is sword-lock. Which doesn't help) and then Fighters and Brigands at Chapter 5 who rum around with 8-9 AS. And his durability is that solid either. It's a little better than Alan and Lance's, but add up the fact, that once again, he is sword-locked, causing ocassional WTD.
Mekkah
Keep all of this in mind. Keep in mind that Ellen doesn't want to necessarily be in range of Lugh's support because she's afraid of being attacked. Keep all of this in mind. Dark Sage
Ward Level: 2 Jointime: Chapter 2 Affinity: Fire Support List: Dieck, Lot, Echidna, Alan, Thany Base Stats: HP 28, Str 8, Skl 3, Spd 5, Luck 4, Def 3, Res 0 Growth Rates: HP 75%, Str 50%, Skl 45%, Spd 20%, Luck 45%, Def 30%, Res 5% Analysis: Ward's one of the more interesting characters to rank for me. He's bad, but he does have some stuff going for him that many Low Mid characters don't. First of all, the thing that kills Ward immediately is his speed. A 5 base with a 20% growth is complete ass and his 3 defense and 30% growth means he's not going to be a durability champ. The 45% growth in skill doesn't offset the awful base and given how terrible axe accuracy is in this game, Ward's going to have some trouble hitting things. Ward's not too bad for his early maps though. He ORKO's soldiers easily and he's actually among the tankier of your characters. He also can use the Hammer against armors, though his bad hit with it means you're going to want to give it to Lot (or Marcus when he gets the rank). He's bad with a Halberd due to his ass hit and the fact he's guarantee to be doubled with it (hell, he's likely to be doubled in Chapter 3 by Cavs without it). His Chapter 5 is pretty bad, but he's forced so he can sit around and accumulate 0 negative utility. As for Chapter 6, he can still bust around some soldiers and possibly armors, but after that, he's done. Ward's supports are his other saving grace. He has a very fast support with Lot and has a useable support with Dieck. It helps they both match move and the thing is, they want his bonuses. Fire/Thunder and Fire/Anima are very good combos and the fact Ward can provide those is pretty nice. But this doesn't excuse Ward's speed problems at all. All in all, some decent supports and some early game utility basically saves him from uselessness. Rating: 3.5/10 Lot Level: 3 Jointime: Chapter 2 Affinity: Anima Support List: Dieck, Ward, Thany, Echidna, Lance Base Stats: HP 29, Str 7, Skl 6, Spd 7, Luck 2, Def 4, Res 1 Growth Rates: HP 80%, Str 30%, Skl 30%, Spd 35%, Luck 30%, Def 40%, Res 15% Analysis: Lot is sort of the middle of the road between a utility and a growth unit. He has workable bases and earlygame utility but can also be used all the way to the endgame reasonably. Lot's actually pretty useful early on, useful for taking on the east enemies in Chapter 2 with Dieck and his ability to ORKO soldiers in Chapter 3. He also has pretty decent durability and with an 80% HP growth and 40% defense growth, he can actually grow tanky enough. Chapter 4, he's great with a Halberd, although his hit is unreliable. Despite being doubled by nearly all the cavs when armed with a Halberd, he has enough HP/Defense to take a hit and try again after being healed. He's not that good in Chapter 5 due to the shaky hit with axes, but like Ward and Lugh, throwing a handaxe or sitting in a corner costs the team nothing and he can't achieve negative utility there. Chapter 6 and 7, he's great for his ability to use axes, like the Killer Axe, Halberd, and Hammer and in Chapter 8, while his movement holds him back, he's still pretty effective against the enemies. He does have some trouble in the isles admitedly. He has pretty mediocre hit and damage though he does have nice durability. He makes a comeback in Chapter 12 and 13 and with a Speedwing, he can be a pretty good unit. It helps Warrior promotion bonuses are great and that he gets Bows to help snipe wyverns. Supportwise, he's pretty good. He has a support with Dieck which is pretty nice and he has a lightning fast support with Ward, though Ward's not likely to be in play. Still, those two can suffice and Anima is a really awesome affinity. Overall, Lot's not bad. In fact, he's decent, maybe even good, though he does want a speedwing to have some good offense lategame. 7/10 Edited July 2, 2011 by Sagekitty
Junkhead
I still think Dieck is a little high.
Elieson
I know it's a little of a late bump, but is there any hope of this being continued?
