Tables
He's from Canada, so apparently the legal drinking age in Canada is 19. 19? That's... 18 seems fairly reasonable, 19 seems pretty late. And in retrospect, I don't even know if 17 is the UK's legal drinking age. I don't really drink so I might be wrong. Ike-Mike
In Germany you can drink beer and other low alcohol drinks already with 16 but I prefer hard liquor anyway.
Altera the Hun
Now that I think about it, I don't think Ireland even has a drinking age, does it?
Raven
Happy 19th. Although by that age I was already (legally) drinking for one year. Yay UK.

In America at the age of 20, you can die for your country but you can't give it a toast.

Parrhesia
'Stralyah it's 18. I'm personally in favour of the policies of the countries in Europe that allow watered-down alcohol at, like, twelve. Or whatever the actual laws are. I'm not certain. I'm just elated I'll be able to vote next election. Edited September 28, 2010 by Furetchen
