Strawman
That is incredible, really. Is it full custom?
Vampire Elf
Ty, I still want to tweak the helmet and I'm sure I will, i just wanted it in b4 the deadline and I'm about to go out for a bit. Yeah, most of the stuff I do is full custom, and when I do splice I either end up customing over it anyway or it's tidy bits and pieces. Vampire Elf
Toni update(FE7X, therefore taller than regular portraits) Merc had a hand in poofing up the hair above the headband, I gave it more volume in the back, changed her near strap slightly so it doesnt look so much like the line of her shoulder and sorted out her chest size somewhat. Also, sneak peak of a WIP
Chocolate Kitty
Why do I have this feeling that those are gonna be the abs in your sprite of yourself...

Chocolate Kitty
Oopsie, my bad vamp, i'm not a person who looks at abs very often... But hearing that i am now very curious to what you'll create. Don't let me down! Crap, and now that i look again those hips are too wide to be a man... Vampire Elf
A bit of a rough request, I'm sure it has alot of issues, The 2nd from the left(blonde, fe6/7) Is pretty much the only colour scheme that works well out of them so cnc'ing that one would be best thx. Nanami Touko
I, personally, think that the hair coming off of her head on the left looks more like cloth than hair. There could be a little more shading under the bow, and the chin looks a bit rough. Edited November 3, 2010 by seph1212
Vampire Elf
Yeah I rushed it, like alot haha, the chin/jaw area is just plain shocking.

TheReaper
Is his shirt ripped at the bottom of the mug? Awesome mug aswell
Vampire Elf
Yeh, his shirt is more of a... iono nipple cover? His trunk/abs are all out to the open in the front, the vest has a kind of pirate feel and is long and finishes in straight cut tails(none of this pointy tux business)
TheReaper
That's really hot. Like manly hot outfit. Lets all imagine Karel in it.

Vampire Elf
[spoiler=A few of my greek mythology sketches, forgive the bad scans!] H- Hades J- Jynx K- Kore(Persephone) M- Medusa N- Narcissus T- Terpsichore These are done on A4 pages in pencil, graphite and tinted graphite as well as coloured pencil for some of the brighter colours, my apologies for horrid scans ;) Going to get my mark back for them tommorrow, fingers crossed it'll be a good once, they're probably the best drawings in the class. Also, minor fargus update:
Xiltas Crysten
Those look quite good o.o I think the style is really interesting. The only thing I'd change is Hades' nose, it looks a bit flat. Fargus looks better and better, can't wait for new sprites made by you for fe7x^^ Btw, are you an art student or something? ò.ô
Vampire Elf
mhmm, I'm studying design at university, just about to complete my first year! Yeah, i had actually pressed too hard with my mechanical pencil doing Hades nose and couldn't erase it enough to re-position the bridge, so I ended up leaving it flat and bridge-less. The sketches are quite different from my normal style, i usually draw more realistic and actually shade skin! haha, but this was based on Greek mythology, so i decided to have everything a lot more floaty, and as I had to do 26 of these, all 14 in size I thought i might keep it a bit more simple than what i usually do, they took about 10mins - half an hour each as opposed to my normal portrait sketches which take more like an hour+ Edited November 10, 2010 by Vampire Elf
Xiltas Crysten
Hmm, close^^ Greek mythology, I see... Have you got a Zeus yet? o.o I'd like to see that one o.o
Vampire Elf
Yeah I'll do another upload of some more in the morning, sadly I've misplaced like 6 of the scans haha and I Dno where I put the files, Zues is still there though ;)
Astelaine
That Fargus is bangin'. The only suggestion I can possibly make is that the V-neck line on his shirt seems a little dark, or maybe needs a little more antialiasing. I can't quite tell. Loving those Greek mythology drawings, too. The faces all look unique. Persephone is my favorite - she's totally gorgeous and that pomegranate hairpiece was a great touch. Do post the rest! :)
Vampire Elf
[spoiler=More Drawings!] A- Aphrodite B- the Boreads D- Demeter E- Eros G- Gaea P- Poseidon Q- Hera, Queen of the Gods R- Rhea S- Styx X- Xanthos Z- Zues The others are the ones I can't seem to find on my comp, though I'll probably re-scan them when I get my assignment back.
