Prep: BEXP Micaiah to 20.0, Volug to 99, Sothe to 99. Remove all skills from Muarim. Remove Cancel from Sothe, Give him Saviour. Take Celerity from Micaiah, Give her Wrath. Take Renewal from Volug, give him Pass. Outfit Ilyana for GM trip with Brave Sword, Hammer, Wyrmslayer, Ashera Icon, Blue Gem, Killing Edge, Celerity.

Comments: Take the ledges, Muarim rear-guards will Herbing to keep up his health, shoving for good measure. Rafiel gets in a bunch of quality refreshes. A stroke of luck had Volug Howl someone shooting down on him for a ledge, giving Sothe 100% accuracy to shoot up at it. Micaiah gets a ~70% hit up a ledge with Thani, blasting an Armor. Things got a bit dicey when the myrmidon reinforcements showed up, but I had Sothe rescue Rafiel (hey, Saviour came in handy!) to save him and tank them. Muarim bust open the door will Volug disracted some archers and javelins to the East, getting more Howls (useless this time since they just wear off too fast) but Muarim decimates all the Armors but one. Micaiah Thani's that one, putting her 7 squares from the seize, and Muarim goes and stands in Jarod's grill, kills a side mage (don't want Jarod using his Concoction). After enemy phase, Muarim had untransformed, so he and Sothe shove Micaiah the necessary two times while Volug gets the boss-kill. No treasure obtained, aside from droppable Chest Key.

I know i said I wouldn't start until PoR, but I have limited wii access so I figured I best make the most of it:

1-7: 6 turns

Savior Sothe and recruited Vika in the chapter, allowing Sothe to cleanly finish the weakened boss.

1-8: 6 turns

That was quite nice. Sothe headed east and took care of the boss area. Ilyana was at 20/1 (with 15 speed, suck), took the robe and dracoshield, and solo'd the north through good use of Resolve, seeing as she can ORKO bandits when doubling, and eventually went left to deal with all those enemies. Aran headed south and slugged it out with bandits. Vika unfortunately damages enemies untransformed, which means I couldn't do the gauge fill trick, but still, she ended up crucial in helping kill the southwest bandits and hunting down the dragonriders. All the penalty units and Micaiah ended up wading the middle of the west swamp.

1-9: 7 turns

Standard Celericaiah clear.

Meteor is ass.

Also did not buy the wyrmslayer, do not know.

Comment: The first time I'd given Volug Resolve instead of Pass, but I missed the 4 turn clear by two enemies, due to running out of density. Pass let him get past those archers that had kept him away from fresh meat. Also, SS strike came on like the fourth kill in the first enemy phase. Much lols were to be had at Volug's tremendous rape (36 kills all by himself), made possible by Revert->Halfshift completely refilling gauge. (Or just by gauge running out naturally and him having to box the last couple enemies to death.)

Wait, what were you doing attacking bowgun warriors with Marcia?

Living on the edge of my seat hoping for the 1 in 4 chance of crit to come through, and restarting the level from scratch if it didn't. Trying to limit this sort of thing to 1 risky move per chapter keeps things reasonable, and doesn't endanger my sanity. If it's like 2-E where it happens first move, first turn, even better.

Ass. That's what this chapter is. Everyone except Vika was in worst bio for the most relevant part of the map, and Vika got hit by a steel bow archer anyway despite ridiculous avo. Sothe shows once again why he is a free unit as he Savior rescued and Passed Micaiah all the way up the map and killed Jared and most everything around him. Aran finally promoted at base, but 14 AS and 22 skill still suck in this map because he's at like a 5 authority star deficit with terrible bio. No matter, though, as him, Ilyana, and Vika took care of whatever was annoying in the middle and baited some of the armors far enough to prevent them from killing Micaiah when I dropped her on the seize square. Micaiah had barely enough durability to take a Meteor at base, and things would've been hell if she couldn't.

Picked up the speedwings along the way and feed them to Ilyana. Got Unlock on the last turn. Ferried Ilyana's new Thunder forge, an Ashera Icon, a Chest Key, a Brave Sword, a Hammer, an Energy Drop, Celerity, and another skill which escapes my memory at the moment to the GMs.

I can't use Neph correctly this chapter so I sent her to a corner and let Brom solo this chapter. This is doable in 7 turns with a bit more luck, but this playthrough is rather mediocre when it comes to the rng. Recruited Heather on the last turn.

2-2: 6 turns

This was nice. Lucia wrapped around the south to keep enemies away from the penalty characters and went a lot faster than I expected. Lethe with Leanne support had no serious gauge issues, which made the north path for her a lot easier.

2-3: 5 turns + 3 (Geoffrey)

BEXP'd Geoffrey up .90 so he could level up, gain strength, and ORKO the boss. Makalov gained exp. That horseslayer pally was not as much of a bitch this time. Did not get the wings.

2-E: 2 turns + 5 (Elincia)

Tried 1-turn stun, failed. Decided not to go for the +3 str on Elincia and do it that way but instead gave most of the BEXP to Calill and a level to Lethe. The solution to this map involved Elincia picking up a halb and placing him on the lower level so that he'd get attacked by Ludveck while Elincia canto'd back up to the second level, where she was able to naturally survive all relevant attacks (most enemies, including the bowgun warrior, move right past her).

Gave Ike Provoke and Vantage; Titania Adept and Miracle.

Titania is pretty legit. Also, a cat made it's way up the left again.

3-1: 8 turns + 5 (Gatrie)

BEXP'd Titania up to 20.89 and holy fuck when she promoted. Ike and Gatrie dealt with the middle section, moved up to the region with two thunder sages, and ended up killing that one hidden unit. Titania went through the armors, back up to the north where Lethe also did some serious damage, and defeated the reinforcements. Got both the Blue Gem and Seraph Robe, but from 3-4, I don't know if anybody even needs it.

3-2: 2 turns

Ike picks up Ilyana on turn 1 and ships her to Celerity Titania on turn 2. From there, Titania drops Ilyana just in range of the boss, who comes in a smacks Ilyana in the face with his hand axe. Ilyana obliges with a Wrath counter-crit. Turns out I didn't carry over another skill from the DB.

3-3: 9 turns

BEXP Ilyana up to somewhere around 10, and she still has only gained 1 natural point of speed over her entire existence. On the other hand, Ike is at +0.5 speed over average, the best he's ever been at this point. Pass on Ike.

Basically, Titania wins. She went up the left, and actually only burned the two northmost supplies, but she cleared the way for Ilyana to burn both supplies along the way. Deployed Gats, and he took care of the first supply to the right. Ike went right up through the bushes and set fire to the northeastern most supply. I think I could shave a turn more off, but I'll take it.

3-4: 8 turns

Bought some grass. Gave the energy drop to Lyre. BEXP'd Ilyana up to .99 and gave her Blossom. Gave Lethe Smite and the stones I have left and forgot that she had decent enough stats. Ike kept Pass and Titania kept Celerity.

For the chapter, I sent Ike/Ilyana/Titania up the left side and let Lethe and Lyre deal with the units that come down from the right. Did not rescue Ike, but did Smite him twice, though a Shove would've done the same in both cases. Titania rushed ahead and first took care of the thunder sage ledgeblockers before moving to lure the fire sages and some other units down. Ike was able to brave sword the right arrive square general on turn 7 and weaken the boss on turn 8 to allow Ilyana to finish and Ranulf to arrive. Other units and Lethe helped Ranulf avoid a penalty. Shade is still helping more than expected.

3-5: 2 turns

Titania pulls out the Brave Sword on the boss. Ilyana has started capping stats and was given enough BEXP to put her at 22 speed; she assisted with killing a general to allow Titania to use her 11 mov and still have a hand axe equipped on enemy phase.

3-6: 8 turns

This was fun. Bought the Short Axe, Short Speak, Physic, Torch, and Beast Killer. Gave Micaiah Paragon, Sothe Resolve, and Aran Beastfoe. Gave Zihark the Short Axe, Brave Axe, Imbue, and Savior. BEXP'd Aran up to level 7 and his strength, skill, and defense are capped though his speed is stuck at 14.

Sothe went north with Micaiah backing him with Torch. Aran went right, and took at most 8 damage from a tiger, which was pretty awesome. Eventually, Sothe passed the island and Aran got to the right thickets leading to Lethe and Mordecai. The partner units were left on roam until turn 6, when they were sent back to the starting point. The BK got one kill.

3-7: 13 turns

BEXP'd Ilyana up to 19 and crowned when she capped everything besides luck. What a turn around. Gave Lyre .99/Blossom, Ike Corrosion and Disarm for kicks, and Lethe something. Did not cut very far and mainly worked on strike rank, where Lethe got S strike. Recruited Zihark for more transfers.

3-8: 5 turns

Titania trucking wasn't cutting it since she was in worst bio and couldn't ORKO generals with a hand axe forge, so I took Celerity off her and gave it to Ilyana, who could ORKO generals. They also both have 26 AS. Ike and Titania initially took on the middle, and Titania was eventually positioned where the northern enemies would attack here. On the last turn, she killed the Bishop. Ike hovered around the middle; Lethe and Lyre only killed 2 swordmasters, but blossom allowed for a cool level up for Lyre. Ilyana went south and towards Septimus and killed everything.
