I didn't vote because I almost always use both of them. : /

Also, the idea that red represents strength while green represents speed and skill is incorrect. The original red knight had a 30% strength growth while the original green had 40%. And both had overkill growths in skill and speed, so both were fast and accurate.

So maybe this whole green knight/red knight things is merely just the result of fans "over-analyzing"?

I'm inclined to think so. Sort of like the Jeigan-Oifaye confusion.

With FE3, I know their colors better than their names... Cain is the green knight and Abel the red, right? I think I like the green knight (whatever his name is) better.

And I like Kent in FE7 better than Sain.

I don't usually use either Kyle or Forde in FE8.

I like Kieran better than Oscar in FE9, but I don't use cavaliers much in FE10, except where I have to.

Come to think of it, who ARE the red and green knights in FE10? I'm inclined to think there are two of each (Kieran and Titania being red, Geoffrey and Oscar being green.)

There are those who forget the game is for fun and over-analyze everything.

I normally use green.

Sain/Lance always ends up a beast for me.

I never used Kyle or Forde so idk about those.

In FE9, I don't use Kieran just because Oscar is higher levled by then.

I actually don't really like paladins, but I use them just for the heck of it.

I usually have better luck with the green ones. Sain usually turns out better than Kent, Kyle better than Forde, and Oscar better than Kieran.

Haven't played any of the non-English releases to comment on those.

Let's go through all the Cavaliers/Paladins I use:

FE6: Noah (blue)

FE7: Sain (green)

FE8: Seth (blue?) and Great Knight Amelia if she counts (Pink)

FE9: Oscar (green)

FE10: Titania (red?)

So that's 2 greens to one red (if she does count as a red), so I'll have to vote green.

It's strange, I've always used the Red ones even if they didn't fit the archtype. Kent is nothing like most reds, but I always used him in my playthroughs opposed to Sain. I've always used Alan opposed to Lance, usually. Sometimes I used both.

EPIC BUMP

I pick neither because I go for the other ones: Yellow(FE7), Blue(FE4, FE6 and FE11) Yellow-green(FE8), and Orange(FE9/FE10) XDDDDDDD

No comment for Fe1-3,11 since I haven't played them.

FE4 neither appealed to me to much so their equal.

Fe5 I saw Kein and Asvel as the red green duo even though they were technically lance knights and not paladins. I prefer Kein here.

Fe6 Lance... especially after reading the manga of the game.

Fe7 Sain, I love his personality though Kent usually turns out better for me.

Fe8 Forde he's more interesting and an artist like myself so he wins. He also performs better for me on average.

FE9 Oscar... he's just a good reliable guy, though Kieran is awesome also.

Fe10 ^ see above

So I normally go for the Green knights...perhaps green being my favorite color creates a slight bias...
