Ah, good. That means we have another two months to ferret out the damn Cylons.

And Thanks, RD, if I draw a crappy card this round, I'll keep it unless needed, and then discard the three together next action phase.

Logic time~!

6 LEA, 7 TAC. After some extensive matching, the only person whose hand I am not positive of is BK's.

Wen Yang as Samuel T. Anders: 4 skills

JBCWK as Felix Gaeta: 6 skills

BK-201 as Tom Zarek: 5 skills

Queen as Louanne "Kat" Katrine: 4 skills

Skills going out shortly. This month's crisis:

Month 3

An offer of peace

Pass: Each human player draws 1 skill.

Fail: -1 Morale and each player draws 1 treachery skill

Difficulty: 22

Types: POL/LEA

Also Revelations happens at the end of this month, so both Cylons will learn their partner (they will be able to chat, but said chat will be constrained by the same secrecy rules as the thread). This happens AFTER the action phase.

Skills are being dealt out now.

POL and LEA? Awesome.

Anyway, we need to come up with a plan to narrow down our suspects, and this crisis is as good a time as any.

I can hold off on playing my card then if you'd like. What do you propose, Herr Dragon?

What suggestion do you have, RD? I'm all ears.

On a side note, we might need at least quite a few people with high ratings to play in this one. 22 is rather higher than the previous counts, and yet we don't want to botch this one either.

Yet having everyone toss a card to the pot would make detecting the Cylon difficult at best.

on a side note, I can play one card if needed.

Also, updated hand list:

Ceadeus as Helena Cain - 2 TRE, 1 TAC, 1 LEA

Kevin as Laura Roslin - 2 POL, 1 LEA, 2 TRE

Excellen Browning as Gaius Baltar - 2 POL, 2 LEA , 2 TRE

Wen Yang as Samuel T. Anders - 1 TAC, 1 LEA, 2 TRE

JBCWK as Felix Gaeta - 1 TAC, 2 POL, 2 TRE, 1 ???

BK-201 as Tom Zarek - 1 LEA, 1 POL, 1 ???, 2 TRE

Queen as Kat - 1 TAC, 1 PIL, 2 TRE

Eclipse as Cally - 1 TAC, 1 LEA, 1 POL, 2 TRE

WeaponsOfMassConstruction as Leoben Conoy - 1 TAC, 1 POL, 2 TRE

Radiant Dragon as Ellen Tigh - 3 POL, 2 LEA

Suggestion: How about Haze and me sitting out this round? both of us can only play one card, and this way if someone tries to mess it up we would at least narrow down the list of suspect somewhat. Also, if possible, RD and Excellen should toss in their cards to the pile, since the two of them alone has NINE cards put together. Maybe with one or two more people putting in their cards to be safe?

Edit: I'm asking tables about a part of the victory condition that intriques me. If it is what I'm thinking... things can get really amusing soon.

ITT: Wen Yang forgot to discard a card.

It looks like RD could pull over half of this by himself, if he wanted to. I can play plural cards, but they won't be of much help, because screw you RNG.

Wen indeed asked a question:

"Pass: Each human player draws 1 skill." This DOES include unrevealed Cylons. So no, this crisis isn't instant-Cylon reveal.

Eclipse, I did not discard last turn because I only have ONE card. RD gave me his second card so this action turn I can discard two instead.

Actually, I think RD said as much when he posted about giving me his second card.

Hrmm... RD, Excellen, you two want to try take the main weight of this between the two of you?

I can only donate one card, but I have decent draws this round, so let me know if you need me.

Also, damn, was hoping we have an instant cylon-reveal crisis pass condition there. dry.gif

On the other hand, had this been an instant-reveal crisis, we do run the risk of a cylon (or both) going all-out with the sabotage and add a reveal to top it off.

Something strange, BK?

By the way, may I propose that we select a target for Excellen to inspect this action phase? I would personally select out of the five original suspects we found in the first month, namely:

- Myself

- Haze

- Rein

- Eclipse

- BK-201

Bastard who played the TAC card in the first month: See above.

Other toaster: No clue.

I joined this game so that I'd learn how to play NOC. So far, I'm still fairly clueless.

Here is the main issue though:

We know that ONE Cylon is amongst the five suspects.

However, we have no idea whatsoever where the second could be.

My main worry is on whether we can trust Excellen's information or not (apologies to Excellen, but in this case I think I have the right to be a little paranoid). If he is a cylon, he can royally screw us over by falsifying his results to us.

With that said though, having him examine someone would establish a link that we can look back to later on. If he ousts a legitimate Cylon, chances are excellent that he's human (does not close off the possibility of a sleeper though), whereas if he framed a legit human, he is definitely a cylon.
