Haze Posted June 2, 2011 Share Posted June 2, 2011 Brigging him wasn't all that smart in the first place, his investigation target was dumb, but unless that TAC-5 was played by a human derping, it's impossible for both Excellen and Kevin to be Cylon(pre-sleeper). Re-reading the posts leading up to and during the brigging is rather interesting though. For example, no one called me out on my (deliberately) terrible argument of Excellen "clearing a random person just after the cylons find out who eachother are", being just that, terrible, since the cylons wouldn't have found out until after the action phase. When have I said that anyone who presents an opinion which disagrees with me is scummy? I've said that we want as few as possible people playing into each crisis, which is true. If someone wants to play a card, let them speak up. That's fine, but when we agree to a certain few people playing into a crisis and then people disobey that it risks scumminess in the case of sabotage. In fact, I immediately said you can play a card when you said you wanted to, so this point is BS to begin with. If too many want to play cards, we could request some with worse hands to hold off for now. Which is exactly what I've done by requesting eclipse to not play anything. In fact, all I said it was that it was "a little odd" that he investigated Kevin. Eclipse has been very passive. A few instances of posting consideration of things that don't need consideration stand out. Also, Excellen's investigation was balls. Seriously. It does seem a little odd. Clear someone who wasn't even a suspect immediately after the Cylons find out who eachother are? As for Eclipse, we'll have to wait and see, she had to host Duel Terminal at the same time, so her activity may change now Excellen has been against hunting for the Cylons since the beginning, so why would he pick Gaius Baltar? Unless his reluctance to finding the toasters stems from the fact that he is one. Brig: Excellen Browning I think all Excellen is sitting on right now is two TRE and one POL, so even if we're wrong doing this shouldn't hurt that much. Brig: Excellen Browning RD tried to have him brigged. I took a glance at what Excellen should have had in his hand at the time - Two TRE and one POL. Brigging him wasn't going to do any real harm, so I backed it, and now it's served it's purpose, so I'm voting to release him. The reason? Simple, I wanted to get some real discussion going, as a chance to scumhunt. Sadly it seems the only person who didn't immediately agree and vote to brig Excellen was Weapons(who wanted RD brigged as well.) The problem I have right now is that no one called me out on that original terrible argument, hell, Wen Yang even repeated it. Oh and stop tunneling me, kthx, I'm not a toaster. Also, while Haze has always been a suspect from the start, I don't really have a good feeling about Kevin's insisting that he's "clear". NOBODY is clear. Two of the "Humans" have just turned cylons.
