Radiant Dragon
I wouldn't be surprised either way, although I admit that it'd be kind of broken to turn 5/6 power skills into 9/11 power skills...
Haze
No. It would ONLY be beneficial if you're RELEASED after you've been brigged. Which is oh so abusable.
Guest Wen Yang
Of course, you kinda need to convince people to actually release you from the brig.
Radiant Dragon
Of course, you kinda need to convince people to actually release you from the brig. Well, if you're getting brigged solely to increase your skills...
eclipse
All right. . .either Kevin, JB, and RD are in some sort of mind-reading conspiracy, or Rein had a hand with those TRE cards. Any explanations, Rein?
Haze
This is perhaps what worries me most of all. I believe he's seen all this, but he hasn't even posted. Not even to gloat or defend himself.
Tables
Sigh Brigging halves skill strengths. Releasing doubles them back to to almost their original values. So say you had this hand: POL-1 LEA-2 TAC-3 PIL-4 TRE-5 When you go into the brig it'd be halved rounded up: POL-1 LEA-1 TAC-2 PIL-2 TRE-3 When you get released, all of those are doubled -1: POL-1 LEA-1 TAC-3 PIL-3 TRE-5 So in other words going through the brig almost doesn't effect your hand, but you lose a few points here and there. Still waiting for a few people's actions. And as I already did mention, immediate abilities are used during the month phase, not during the action phase. Mechanically the action phase is instantaneous, I suppose you could say.
Haze
Thanks for clearing that up Tables.
Radiant Dragon
Still waiting for a few people's actions. Gah, I'll get that in. And as I already did mention, immediate abilities are used during the month phase, not during the action phase. Mechanically the action phase is instantaneous, I suppose you could say. I must have missed that the first time, sorry...

Zkirsche
Well, who didn't see that one coming. I will contribute to this crisis. Other people who wish to do so please step forward.
eclipse
WELL, DAMMIT, NO SQUIRT GUN FOR ME! I have a very full hand. I'd like to help (for once).
Tables
Yes. So it means that: On a human, 100% chance of saying human On a Cylon, 50% chance of saying human, 50% chance of saying Cylon. Also I should point out 'Human player' means any human and unrevealed Cylon. And the result is private but the person looking can share (but of course can lie)
eclipse
Okay, I misread it. Thanks!
Haze
I like that pass reward, POL heavy players need to grab us that. I'll be twiddling my thumbs over there in my big chair. Edited June 5, 2011 by Ceadeus
Haze
One other thing, RD, what's with the seemingly random skill passing?
Zkirsche
Well, he gave me cards for the past few days in a row, and maybe he doesn't trust me after that last crisis. :/
Radiant Dragon
##Brig: Lightning, obviously. I'm glad eclipse decided not to shoot someone before revealing. I'll be putting all of my POL skills into this crisis, since we can't afford to lose any more population. Also, wasn't eclipse supposed to discard down to three cards after revealing?
Zkirsche
eclipse didn't reveal, rein did. Which also means you can't brig him.
eclipse
Relevant rule snippet: After revealing, they cannot vote or be voted for in brigging, execution or releasing from the brig So as much as I'd like to, I can't.
eclipse
*sees updates* All I revealed is that my super gun has been turned into a ketchup shooter.
Radiant Dragon
One other thing, RD, what's with the seemingly random skill passing? I honestly don't know. If anyone has any suggestions, I'm happy to hear them.
riariadne
I have two things to say to you. Firstly, RD, I revealed. Can't brig me now. Or stop me at all, for that matter. Secondly... Have fun, humans.
Radiant Dragon
eclipse didn't reveal, rein did. ...Oh. ##Unbrig. All I revealed is that my super gun has been turned into a ketchup shooter. This is why I thought eclipse was the one that revealed. What happened to your gun?
