(By the way, I do have a "COPY" of the game in which I insert music that I want to replace what is already in-game, so I do have vocals, shinsou, and some random GG2O music.)

So, in a strange turn of events, I wound up dropping Hazama to see who else I could attempt to use. Taokaka wasn't really working out, and I despise how easy to learn Jin is. But alas, I have found one. One that comes naturally to my innate sense of timing, and he feels oh so rewarding to use. Where his CS1 version felt clunky and weird, CS2 he feels far more fluid.

Hakumen.

His counter's so good, his defensive game is nice, and his ability to just blow up all over your face is too much for me to ignore. I'm pretty decent with Ragna (still improving though), but I think over time, Hakumen may become my ultimate main. Time will tell I suppose.

So, anyone got tips for a growing Hakumen, other than "Be Patient", since I got that in spades?

Against Ragna, Noel, Jin, Carl, Litchi, Tager, Bang, Haku Mirrors, Tsubaki, Mu, and Makoto use an airdash approach and A Falling attack, normally j.5B or j.2C.

Against Tao and Valk, Bait them into a 4D combo.

Against Rachel, Arakune, Lambda, Hazama, and Plat, Approach with a j.2C that is used As you are airdashing to orbify their projectiles. (Since those 5 characters have projectiles that get in the way of your airdash)

Also, I've seen this used on me way to many times.

Corner: 623AA>(JC)>j.2C(Falling)>2C>j.5A>j.5A>airdash>j.5A>j.5C>j.214B>j.5A>j.5C>(Now you have a choice)

Option 1: J.214C

Option 2: Gold Burst and repeat starting at the 2C

Option 3:RC j.5A>j.5C

Option 4: Just end the combo.

Freaking Platinum.

I'm thinking about redoing it AGAIN later. As in putting in CS2 combos.

The problem is, challenge combos don't really do that with mid-screen with distortions as the ending with decent damage output.

The ideal CS2 combos I want to do are like what Noel did to Platinum.

Anyone able to help me out with stuff like this?

Or should I just not redo it at all?

That really depends if you're going to get a lot of views or not, if your not going to get a lot of views then its not worth redoing. If your perfectionism takes over then I could try to give you some CS2 combos.

It took me literally 20 minutes per character to find a practical 3K+ corner combo (Except Rachel, Valk, and bang. I can't play either for crap). Not the best result, but its usable:

Why don't I play ____? Boring/Too easy or Hard/Awkward Combo Timing

Why do I main/Sub _____? Because I like Her Appearance or because I like his comboes.

Who do I refuse to use? Anyone I didn't include.

I tried playing the game recently, and noticed that my most used link seems to either require very tight timing or not work at all on Hazama. It was the 3C -> 214D -> 5C -> j.C (mult) -> j.C (mult) or something like that, I can't play it out in my head.

Anyways, I played against a pal recently and they seemed to always be able to recover in between the 214D and the 5C. Was that a change they made recently? I noted in the earlier video with Hazama posted up, he followed 214D with 236D, which is something I don't think I ever did. Come to think of it, I didn't make a huge use of that move at all in the past.

Stuff like wall bounces and ground bounces were added to the game which Hazama's 236D can do near the corner to make a wall bounce, while Hazama's j.214B (Some sort of flip kick in the air) makes the opponent do a ground bounce which makes 214D-5C comboable.

You NEVER want to use anything other than a 6C after a 214D~C. Seriously.

Take a look in dustloop---owait its down...Take a look at the two latest videos I posted. That should teach you what can and can't be done with hazama.

Huh. Is that reflected in the trials with the combos, then? Or do they still teach all the ones that no longer work? >__>

Yes, the updated patch also updated the trials teaching new combos.
