''... that would be all.'' The guard finally said after a while. ''Wait until everyone is finished.'' He was about to turn around and head back, but his gaze caught something.

It was Gil, and he was still staring. <What's his problem?> The guard thought, returned the stare. The wyvern kept at it with his glare. <Does it ever blinks?> The guard thought after a while. Neither seemed to want to let go.

<What's going on here?> John only watched the now staring contest.

Back with the other interrogation...

''... s-so you are a religous person then?'' The guard continued.

''Yes I am.'' Sophia answered.

''What is your occupation.''

''I am a cleric.''

''Ah, t-that devoted?''

''...''

''I-is there a problem?''

I would have said 'Yes' quickly before, but now, after what Lilith has said... still, it was only Wrath she talked about. I shouldn't overthink this.

She shook her head. ''No, there isn't. But yes, I am quite devoted. That's why I became a cleric.''

''I see. W-well, I think that would be all. T-thank you for your time.'' With that he headed back. <T-there, I did it. It wasn't so bad.> He sighed.

Questions

"Hmm, tell me a little about it." the soldier asked.

After the soldier that had interviewed Lilith gave the Captain the report to look over, he got a little perturbed. A few more reports came in, and then he wandered over to question her. "Lilith?"

"Hmmm?"

"These places ... don't exist. Where are you from?"

"The answers I gave you are both true. There really isn't a point in elaborating any further."

"Urrrrrrgh."

"Sorry for the inconvenience." she replied, prompting a sigh from the man. The witch was just a big mystery for the moment.

Meanwhile, another soldier approached Gytha. It seemed to be her turn. "Excuse me, Miss. I must ask you some questions before you can be let inside. I will start with your name. What is your full name?" He got out his notebook and was ready to go; these soldiers certainly had a lot of them handy, but given the type of security the city focused on, it may have only been a little surprising.

Another guard approached Veronika and said almost the same thing. "Excuse me, I must ask you a few questions. What is your name?"

And yet another was on his way to Nadya before being intercepted by Haythem. <"Heheh, no need for that, see? I even brought my own notebook.">

<"Umm ... okay."> he said, shrugging and then heading over to Aneda, instead. "I will need you to answer some questions, miss. To begin, what is your full name?"

Meanwhile, Haythem came to Nadya saying "See you get me instead of a boring old horseman. So ... what's your full name?"

"A'right! Me name's Gytha!" the mariner cheerily introduced herself. She apparently hadn't registered that she was to give her full name.

Norbert, meanwhile, did an extra check on Rizen to make sure her aremor tack were secure and properly equipt. Nothing was too loose, too tight or strapped on awkwardly, so he was satisfied with that. Next, he took a quick inventory of what was in his saddlebags. Everything that should have been there was there. His poleaxe was strapped properly to the pegasus' side, too. So, his work there was done. The pegasus rider idly felt his face. His skin was a bit sensitive, but it was healing fine. There were only a couple flakes he peeled off. It seemed that the stuff the Rexian woman had applied was working its wonders well. Without much else to do for the time being, he looked around at who all was still being interviewed. Some had finished, others had just started. This would take a bit longer, it seemed.

Derp

"Umm ..." the soldier paused. Well at least she was enthusiastic about it, strange as that was. Maybe she was just excited about being in Sanctuary. Outsiders were lucky to see the inner city at all. Outright foreigners, far more so. "Your full name, I meant, Miss Gytha."

"Ah, uh, me full name? As in me given name n' me famila name?" she asked for clarification, suddenly more nervous than before, though she was poorly trying to hide it.

Full Name

"Yes. First, last, and middle name if you have one." he replied, his writing utensil resting just about half an inch above the notebook. All that was written down was Gytha, and the beginnings of a line he had drawn before he first realized she'd only given him one name.

"Errr... Can I skip this'un?" Gytha asked, grinning awkwardly as she somewhat tennatively made the request.

"Uhh..." It seemed her integrity was being tested. Aww, blast it! What do I say? Don't want t' lie -- lyin' just gets ye in trouble later on. But...I haven't told anyone me full name fer a while... Not somethin' I trust with just anyone... Oh, by Leviathan, what am I supposed t' do?! Err... "No, I have a surname..." she muttered, still quite reluctant to actually say what it was.

"Why?" Gytha returned, somehwat innocently. There wasn't a whole lot she could do to avoid the question, but perhaps this was a way out... Doubtful.

Rexian

"Because you are being registered. The more information we have about you, the easier you are to reference in our files should the need arise. Only the military and Lady Aisha's staff have access to any of our files, so it is mostly confidential ... now would you please state your full name, there are other, more important questions that need answering." the somewhat impatient man responded.

Gytha was quiet for a moment, her left hand holding the wrist of her right behind her back with her neck pulled back into her shoulders (she'd been steadily shrinking back into this nervous position all this while) before quietly mumbling, "thrgm..."

"... My name?" Preoccupied as she was, the question completely baffled her and her expression matched her befuddlement. It only took her a few long moments to situate herself, trying to simply block out the thoughts of recent events and move on with her life. "Um..." she began again, her usual cheerful tone missing, "Aneda... Aneda Welnon, sir..." That wasn't so hard, was it? For Aneda, it wasn't hard. It was something she couldn't quite clearly describe at the moment. Bitter? Disgusting? Foul? Perhaps I shouldn't be getting so heated over it, especially given the circumstances... Eeeuugh...

Questions & Answers

"Could you say that, again? I could not understand." the Rexian replied to Gytha, leaning forward a bit, and tilting his head somewhat to the side so at least one of his ears could better receive it the next time.

Meanwhile another Rexian was having much better luck with his questions thus far, even though Haythem had blocked him from his original target. "Aneda Welnon. Alright, and where are you from? What is your hometown, Miss Welnon?"

Gytha shifted her gaze a little, checking to see if anyone else was listening for one, and also just because she was so nervous about the information she was about to give away. "... Thirdgem," she answered more clearly.

Moving Right Along

"... thank you ..." he said, standing up straight again, as he wrote down the name next to all the tiny marks that punctuated the end of the word 'Gytha'. "Where were you born?" he asked next.

"... Err... Don't tell anyone..." she quietly preluded before -- almost flinchingly -- answered, "Stubbsgrit."

Noted

"It will be going on file, but beyond that, I don't plan to tell anyone." he said before moving on. "Now then, what do you do for a living? What is your occupation?"

Gytha was able to relax a little more now that this question was asked, though she was still worried about who would get their hands on the information she'd already given. "I'm a mariner! I get hired for voyages on merchant ships t' protect cargo n' people from pirates," she explained, relaxing as she spoke.

Veronika cringed a bit at having to relieve her weapon, but complied.

"Veronika Rusayev, Neviskotia, noblewoman," she said to the guard in quick succession. "I'm traveling with Raquel Valcyn to find my fiance. Does that answer your questions?"

"Full name is...Nadya. We don't really bother with last names too much, everyone in the clan knows each other and most people outside don't give a dman what your last name is," she said to Haythem.

More Questions

"Right, and do you adhere to any particular religion?" the Rexian continued his questioning, writing down the 'gist' of whatever Gytha told him.

Meanwhile Veronika provided about half the answers the man questioning her wanted, so that was a good start, at least. "Okay, and your place of birth, occupation, religion ... et cetera."

Haythem laughed a bit at Nadya's reply. Nadya Aziz. I like the sound of that. "Well that is certainly convenient. Alright moving along ... who's your favorite Rexian man so far?~" Almost immediately after finishing that question he was smacked in the back of the head by the escort captain. A simple "Ow!" escaped his lips.

<"Stick to the relevant questions."> the captain instructed, before walking off.

"Heheh ... that captain ... he's sure got a swift arm ..." he said before glancing back to see where how far away the captain was. "... seriously, who's your favorite?" he asked a second time, giving a somewhat hopeful, somewhat flirty expression.

"Well, Leviathan's in charge o' th' sea. So, I show'im respect n' ask fer good sailin'," Gytha replied, "Other n' that, nope." She was much more relaxed now.
