Desdemona
I forgot to add that I turn them off for the armored classes (especially when they're up against an airborne unit <_<) Edited July 12, 2008 by Desdemona

Cymbeline
I like them on most of the time, but I tend to turn off the heavy armored units' animations. It's monotonous to me and quite slow. Edited July 12, 2008 by Cymbeline
Gemini-Saga
I leave them On for the 2 first playtrough after Off to play quick, Turn it on again on the 5 last Chapters. On RD I turn them on always on part 4 after the second playtrough.

Mongol
First playthrough I turn them on. Afterwards they're off except when fighting a awesome boss or when I'm getting down to the end of the game.

Rapp14
I have battle animations on unless I'm abusing the battle save for level ups. I find the action to be too dull otherwise.
Neko Arc Chaos
On rare occasions I turn them off, but then the battle seems more like a game of tag, rather than an epic war.
sandmanccl
I leave them on for the GBA games, but turn them off for the 3d ones. They are quick enough in the GBA games to not be a hassle, but they seemed to take forever and a half in Radiant Dawn, regardless of what units were being shown on the battle. I left it on Map-Only. Hibari
The animation adds more suspense in my opinion. Even if it does get repetitive.

¬_¬
Looks like I'm the only person here who plays with animation off nearly all the time, besides the exceptional Endgame chapter of PoR. The map animations are enough to keep me content. Well ironically, the animations are what got me into FE in the first place with Blazing Sword, oh how much I've changed. :s

Knife
I always leave animations on for GBA, I sometimes leave them on for the 3D ones just to see the skills activate.
Donatello
For the most part, on. On the 2nd playthrough and onwards, though, I usually turn them off, except for the BK and a couple others in the endgame.
AzNK890
Revenants must die. Usually on. In PoR, I only put Ike, Volke, and anyone with an A magic tomb
Allan's Aokage
I leave them off most of the time, they're quite irritating quite a bit of the time.

Sir Canas
I've tried turning off battle animations in order to save time, but I quickly found out that I couldn't manage without them. The games donen't have the same 'feel' to me without the battle animations.
