Am I blind or is there no fossil pokemon on the list? 'Cause I'd like Anorith.

Edit: WAIT never mind I want Illumise since I just found one with 30 IVs in speed.

Started this and went with Mudkip, which I kind of regret. Torchic would be better since I have Lotad, but whatever. I named my Mudkip "u liek me?", beat Brendan, then picked up the rest of my team. Also got a Zigzagoon as my HM slave, whom I named Shea. Roxanne fell easily to Shailla the Lotad. Savescummed a bit so I could get a silcoon with a decent nature, then I gave up. But a hasty nature's still okay.

Pokemon Nickname
Mudkip: u liek me?
Lotad: Shailla
Beautifly: Triena
Skitty: Valuenne
Sableye: Aegbel
Vulpix: Sheyenne
Swablu: Tessa
Plusle: Hatty

I like to think of Mudkip as the lord, Lotad and Vulpix as the red/green knights, Swablu as the pegasus knight, Beautifly as the anima mage,
Skitty as the staff chick, Plusle as the myrmchick because it's fast but frail, and Sableye as the Jeigan/Oifaye/whatever the fuck.

Caught me my Sableye and then went and delivered the letter to Steven without flash, because fuck it. Taught it to Skitty anyway because she's like the least important Pokemon on my team ATM.

Holy shit, Sableye roflstomps Brawly's gym so hard. It's pretty slow, but I love it. u liek me? hasn't even evolved yet. Shailla and Triena have though. Also, my team is all female :awesome: It doesn't match up with some of the names but whatever.

Pokemon Level HP AT DF SA SD SP Nature Moves
Mudkip 13 38 26 21 21 22 16 Bashful Tackle, Growl, Mud-slap, Water gun
Lombre 14 43 21 20 24 25 20 Srs Astonish, Nature power, Absorb, Bullet seed
Beautifly 13 42 24 18 29 20 25 Hasty Harden, Absorb, Gust
Skitty 13 36 18 20 15 18 21 Docile Sing, Tackle, Tail whip, Flash
Sableye 16 45 32 31 30 26 22 Lax Leer, Scratch, Astonish, Night shade

FUCKING PLUSLE

UGH be like skitty and show up after 2 tries

not two hours

bitch

Mudkips really OP'd here....

Now, that little modest Ralts has evolved, and solo'ed most of the trainers en route to fallarbor.

And.Torkoal has managed to tank, curse, and body slam everything in fallarbor.

And, along with Golbat.....

Lol at Golbat soloing team Magma.

And now, Flannery is a bitch, due to Marshompt being slightly underlevelled.

That's what babying does to you....

Oh, and Gulpin+Loudred are just performing average.

Team players...

Soo.

I didn't blow my cash in the shops or casino, and have a crapload of money...

So, Torkoal learned protect, and now is just 2 levels away from F-Thrower.

Lol Curse+Protect at norman

I have a Swampert before fighting Wattson, thanks to the daycare. Everyone else is ~30. I was bored in the car, so I just pressed the left and right buttons until they were all overleveled.

Still didn't find a Plusle. Bitch

The daycare, huh? It's not something I tend to bother with...

Ouch. I ran into some trying to find an Oddish with a good nature.

Try the daycare trick in ruby/sap., with tape over the d pad.

Overknight.

You'll get a level 20 pkmn to lvl 50ish.

Also, why the fuck do Plusles pop out of nowhere and keep twing all but Marshomp.

(Is on emerald)

And ooh, a shiny plusle....fuck those mice

I never bothered with using the daycare to level up because you don't have any say in whether or not a Pokemon learns a move if it leveled up to a level where you learned a new move.

Exactly why I picked Mudkip (that, and Wattson and Flannery; the only other ground option for Wattson is Geodude, which requires a trade to evolve, in addition to not exactly being common at that point (and the one time I DIDN'T pick Mudkip for my starter Wattson was very very unpleasant to battle), and my team is overall weak against Flannery; a Steel and two Grasses? Ouch). And here's hoping I can snag a Sun Stone from a Solrock...

If I don't want a certain move, I'll take it out before the level it learns it at and then manually level it so it doesn't learn the move.

Ugh, I still haven't found a Plusle. Come on, a 2% encounter rate shouldn't take that long to find, right...? :(:

Still sounds to me like it's more trouble than it's worth....

You can get a Plusle in an in-gamne trade. Except the requisite Pokemon is a Volbeat, which has a whopping 1% chance to appear... Goddammit, Game Freak. That's twice in the same game they've done this ("this" referring to having a rare Pokemon available in an in-game trade whereas the requisite Pokemon is ALSO rare).

My other pick is... Spheal.

EDIT:

What is up with people? I am at norman with severly underleveled team with random natures :P: Stop minmaxing

Who specifically are you addressing?

There's a Sun stone in the space center on mossdeep.

Yeah, plusles a pain in the ass to find.

And sadly, minun is a little better, due to having slightly higher sp def (I think).

Right now, Torkoal just managed to curse/protect+body slam steels and arons to death.

Too bad my marshtomps underleveled...

Flannerys gonna be a pita...

Norman should be fun, protecþ+ body slam/flamethrower, and that should do it.

There's a Sun stone in the space center on mossdeep.

The problem with that is that that's not until very late in the game... Hence my wanting to snag one off a wild Solrock.

Also, just whomped Wattson. Led with Gloom to take his Voltorb (because it'd SUCK to have Selfdestruct take my trump card out) and Electrike, and had her paralyze Magneton before using Marshtomp to pwn the rest of his team.

EDIT: Now to find a Skarmory... Might as well collect volcanic ash while I'm at it.

Who specifically are you addressing?

Just about everyone who dont pick the first copy of certain pkmn they run accross

oh and i should continue... soon

Norman's spinda is being dick to my early 18-22 lv team

I think I beat the gym trainers that i for most part ignored to pump my geodude to evolution.

Actually getting Sand attack and overheat to combusken and selfdestruckt to geodude might plenty, trying that...

And yep beated norman.

Combusken used sand attacks and soda pops to allow himself get in position to use double kicks to kill spinda in while ending the battle in full health

Norman then sends out Vigoroth who 2RKOs Combusken, leaving space for Overheat. After that Swellow lv 22 just finishes it.

Linoone comes out and beats the living daylights out of Swellow. My lv 22 Geodude (4or5RKOed, can't say I really care) then magnitutes it once to get it low enough to kill it with selfdestruckt.

Slaking is clueless against Dustox lv 18's Protect + Toxic

After Norman My team is:

Combusken lv 21, Sand Attack, Double Kick, Overheat and Peck. (this guy is very helpfull, once he learns Bulk Up even more so)

Geodude lv 22 Magnitude, Defence Curl, Selfdestruct, Rock Throw. (Kaboom will be handy for a long time)

Azumarill Lv 22 Strenght, Rollout, Tail Whip, Water Gun Surf (Very vital powerhouse in many gyms, practically soloed Flanery with X defs/atk and Rollout)

Swellow Lv 22 Wing Attack, Steel Wing, Double Team, Quick Attack (another vital member for his amazing offence against Brawly and Team magma boss)

Dustox Lv 20 Moonlight, Confusion, Toxic, Protect (I named him utility blob for a reason. As long as he is not one shotted he can take down any non steel pkmn given I have plenty of healing items. Without him Slaking would have been impossible)

Can't wait to get my Magnemite

After defeating Wattson, went to get Strength, then headed to Route 113 to catch a Skarmory (collecting volcanic ash in the process, since Blue/Yellow/Red Flutes can really be handy). Then proceeded to Meteor Falls to steal a Sun Stone from a wild Solrock, which mmediately went to Gloom to evolver her into Bellossom. Then used a Heart Scale to reteach her Magical Leaf.

Afterwards, pursued Team Magma to Mt. Chimney. The Grunts fell bu the wayside easily, and Tabitha didn't fare much better.

VS. Magma Leader Maxie

Lead off with Skarmory to face Mightyena, who tries - and fails - to lower Skarmory's Accuracy. Picked away at him with Peck and Swift while he attacks with not-very-effective Bite attacks.

Once Mightyena went down, met his Camerupt with Bellossom. He spends his first turn using Focus Energy while getting smacked with Magical Leaf, then used Ember the next turn only doing about a third of Bellossom's health in damage while losing about 40% of his. Maxie used a Super Potion, and Camerupt took Magical Leaf attacks until it fainted, but not before using Magnitude - and getting a 10. Breloom wiped out Zubat in one hit.

Tried to find a Plusle at school today for about an hour. I pretended to be reading but I took a GBA and turned the brightness down but I still couldn't find one. Is my game rigged or something? Gawd damn. Skitty was really easy to find and it has the same encounter rate as Plusle. >(

Cleared Lavaridge Gym. The trainers were nothing to worry about, even with a team that was overall weak to Fire. Flannery, OTOH, did put up a fight... or at least her Torkoal did. (Numel and Slugma rolled over and died after a Water Gun and Mud Shot, but Camerupt got off a Sunny Day, which caused me to stall until the weather went back to normal before KOing it.) Stole its White Herb with Skarmory, then chuckled as its Overheat... whiffed. Switch Marshtome in afterwards... into another failed Overheat attempt. Then an epic battle began, with Water Guns and Body Slams being exchanged, with an Overheat tossed in as well (though only one hit, until Marshtomp fainted. Sent out Breloom to Leech Seed Torkoal while Flannery healed it, revived Marshtomp, and laughed as Overheat missed.. yet again. Then switched Marshtomp back in again... into an Overheat that critted, putting her out of commision again; unfortunately for Flannery, though, that was her last Overheat, meaning she was helpless against Skarmory.

EDIT: That... I did yeasterday. Currently I'm working on getting through Petalburg Gym.

EDIT 2: ...Aaaaand I'm done in Petalburg now.

Gonna pick anytime soon?

I was waiting for an update first... And personally, I feel there's hardly anything left worth drafting (which is why I was so hesitant about drafting anything after Staryu and still feel Creeper went too far).
