I was bored out of my skull halfway through the first map. And the Christmas Cavs, Alec and Noishe, were utter shite compared to everyone else. As much as it pisses me off i do love FE5 xD Yeah, it had a lot of interesting mechanics to it, like capturing and dismounting, or influencing unit growth rates with scrolls. But I couldn't really get into the game itself, because of the BS that gets thrown at you, even early on (lose items at random if two characters' inventories are full! Yay!). Then how come games like Binding/Blazing didn’t have a real convoy? I know that’s what Merlinus was for, but I assumed the convoy wasn’t a thing until around PoR.
