Chapter 16: 10/136 turns

Crazy and mean chapter forced more RNG manipulation than I would like. Noah finally promotes and takes the kill on Narshen. Marcus gets the Rescue staff. Hugh gets recruited at 5k for the Member Card. Douglas becomes a pest as always, although he does serve to give some chip exp at the end. Sophia destroys a mamkute because she can. This brief summary doesn't even come close to describe how much work this chapter took, but the results speak for themselves.

Chapter 16x: 8/144 turns

More required RNG manipulation to keep my frail units alive. Fa actually did stuff besides meatshielding Boltings. Ellen promotes and gets some use out of her Restore and Physic staves. Alan takes on the boss. Surprised how easy it was to safely burn through the Berserk staff, although I did get caught with Silence right at the end. Random miss from Berserk was funny, was only intending to get Lalum to dodge a bolting and Silence to miss. Oh well, can't complain.

Chapter 17: 5/149 turns

I took a page from FE4's book, and used the arena for RNG manipulation. Fa did some shopping, and I almost made all the money back I'd spent by the end. I have the paladins and Lalum head to the throne with Roy, with a little Physic support from Ellen. I have my other foot units hang back, and frequent the arena with my female foot fighters.

Chapter 18: 7/156 turns

I decided I wasn't happy with the 8 turn, so I redid this chapter and saved a turn. Alan was in a far more risky position near the throne, but I managed to pull it off with the timely trade of a vulnerary. Goddess Icon wasn't able to be reached, but I can live without it. There were a lot more crits this time with the Killer Lances, and Noah got one on the boss too.

Chapter 19: 7/163 turns

Had to do a lot of working with the Killer Lances to have a shot at clearing this map quickly. Terrain once again was a problem, but I was able to work around it thanks to dodgebot Lalum keeping my paladins well ahead. Roy enjoyed another high risk/high reward drop which prevented my paladins from being blocked to the throne. Collected Energy Ring too.

OK, restarting.

Chapter 1- 5/5 turns

Roy trailed behind Marcus as Marcus took out most of the enemy force, and eventually their leader, like a champ. Roy even got a good level out of it!

Marcus 1.38 32 9 14 11 10 9 8 A Lance D Sword E Axe

Chapter 2- 6/11 turns

Roy and Marcus blazed ahead, with Roy being almost dead for a while there, while Lott took on the brunt of the enemy army (with help from Marcus) with Thany chipping in whereever she could without dying. As for the Armourslayer, I got it to Marcus by way of convoluted rescue chain. Thany ended up getting a good level out of the whole thing too, so bro.

Chapter 3- 7/18 turns

Chapter 4- 5/23 turns

I lose a turn again because fuckdammit, this chapter is annoying to get through. Marcus rushes, Thany helps with Lott (so I miss the Angelic Robe, fuckdammit), and Marcus and Thany get some ridiculous levels. That may or may not make up for the MIA Angelic Robe!

I lost my logs from chapters 7-11 (well, I have the turncounts from chapters 7-10 recorded, but I'm unsure of 11), so I'll just put a rough approximate of what I got and be sure to tally everything up and make sure everything's in order come endgame when the final turncount reel appears.

Chapter 7- 10/43 turns

This sure was a pain in the ass with only three combat dudes and my spare non-Marcus mount being Thany. At least she was pretty bro in this run.

Chapter 8- 17/60 turns

This one is even worse, what with the huge number of archers and general PITA layout, especially when I needed to get myself an Elysian Whip. Also I forgot to get the Chest Keys last chapter, which definitely hurt me, because I could really have used that Light Sword and the Knight Crest (I don't know why I didn't just deploy Chad for that).

Chapter 8x- 9/69 turns

I took the shortcut, but the boss was such an ass that it didn't end up saving me any turns in the end.

Chapter 9- 7/76 turns

Thany promoted, and flew straight to the boss and started chipping him to death, while also working on her sword rank. Marcus took Roy to seize point. Everyone else helped kind of I guess.

Chapter 10- 6/82 turns

Thany flying straight down with Roy and killing the boss isn't a very complex strategy, but it's exactly what I did.

Chapter 11- 9/91 turns

The mere memory of doing this chapter traumatized me for life, so you'll have to just make do with this turncount, I'm afraid.

Chapter 12- 8/99 turns

Well, this was far more annoying than I anticipated, due 100% to those Sleep staff goons. First they sleep Chad, who I need to recruit Ray, not to mention he's undrafted so I'd take a penalty, so I have to rescue his sorry ass. Oh, did I mention Eclipse Shaman attacks him over Lalum? That's how bad he is! Anyways, that ass also goes after Astohl, who I need to get the Elysian Whip, so I had to have Astohl hang back. On the right side, Barth helped Lott clear the initial scubble of enemies before putting his door keys and chest keys to work (see, it was a brilliant idea to buy two chest keys las tchapter). Astohl got me the Elysian Whip to save a 300G use of a chest key. On the other side, Thany was clearing most of the enemies in thewalls (who had like 20-35% hit on her, depending on what weapon they were holding), clearing a line for Roy (who she later rescued), and Marcus holding Chad. Lott later joined up with them and opened the door to the boss. I had to waste a turn because the one fighter who was alive would have attacked Chad if he was not killed. This does mean Ray did cost a turn,so he better be super bro in the desert.

Chapter 12x- 6/105 turns

I had Thany and Marcus bumrush to the boss, while everyone else caught up on EXP. Merlinus got the...Chest Key, using a Chest Key, for the Chest Key was inside a chest that required a Chest Key to open for a Chest Key is the only way to open it without a thief, although I hear thieves are pretty good at using Chest Keys too. Oh, and I also gave Thany the Dracoshield, because she could really use the durability boost.

Chapter 13- 6/111 turns

Thany killed the Sniper goon and the mages on turn 1, then carried Roy onto the goal. This let Miledy be recruited in a more favorable position, where she then distracted the wyvern knights and got some nice levels in the process. Lott's job was to kill the batch of enemies around the Body Ring village and well...get the Body Ring. Everyone else just got EXP and stuff.

Chapter 20: 6/169 turns

Annoyingly difficult chapter, having to deal with many issues. Berserk druid basically forced me to use Sleep on him. Took several attempts to get past all the long range magic, staff and ballista attacks safely. Didn't manage to get items here, was too busy concentrating on clearing the map. Sophia promotes and actually becomes great in combat. Ellen's staff work was again a linchpin.

Chapter 21: 8/177 turns

Had to do a crazy amount of work with Rescue to get this to work. Alan bypasses most of the early trigger points, while Yuno ferries Ellen down south so she can bring Roy to Alan. After this, Yuno flies to the secret shop - had enough for 11 pairs of boots, hope that's enough. Dropping Noah near the village was the real thing that made this strategy possible though.

Guess who's back?

Chapter 1 - 4 turns (4)

Marcus and Roy rush, Lance kills things and Wolt gets the village.

Chapter 2 - 6 turns (10)

Essentially a Marcus rush.

Chapter 3 - 6 turns (16)

Lance killed a Soldier in Marcus' way. Otherwise, it was similar to Toothache's method, only with Ward and Wolt on guard duty, and Ward rushing for Lugh.

Chapter 4 - 4 turns (20)

Toothache's strat.

Chapter 5 - 3 turns (23)

Through the gate bro.

Chapter 6 - 4 turns (27)

Lugh got 2 levels and became really good.

Chapter 7 - 6 turns (34)

DIdn't get many villages, but thankfully everything turned out alright. Aside from Merlinus dying, that is.
