BBHood217
Is there a hack where you play as the generic enemies you usually slaughter?
Naglfar
Gonzales is a brigand.
BBHood217
But he's the only one. I need more. Like maybe an entire group of brigands, or soldiers (as in loldiers, not knights) defending against an invasion.
Wen Yang
Dream of Five has 2 Playable Soldiers.
HF Makalov Fanboy Kai
FE 9 and 10 has soldiers as well
deranger
You can use nightmare of event editing for that. Soldier and Brigand are just classes you can assign to characters or generics you make/edit. Edited January 5, 2012 by deranger
General Horace
Marty is a mountain thief, which is pretty much a brigand as well.
CrashGordon94
And FE2 has at least two Soldiers (Paison and Ruka), but they promote into Armors so...
Celice
Almost every hack by the average fan will feature a soldier or a brigand, because they'll want one for the same reason you want one. So you can check out whatever hack and find one, most likely. The next-best thing would be just to make a few edits yourself. You'll need to add in a promotion item, and also fix of up some colors if they don't match right, but you can either edit your ROM directly or use a more temporary cheat (switch class, save, permanent class change). You could also switch them back to a promotable class, promote, and switch them then to what you wanted them to promote into, if you wanted, even back into soldiers and brigands :) Edited January 5, 2012 by Celice
Crimson Red
I made a hack like that called Fire Emblem Wars but it was an incomplete project and I don't think anyone has done anything similar where you play as generic enemies against non-generic or other generic enemies. BBHood217
It'd be interesting (or annoying) to play as a group of soldiers (maybe with the generic names from FE11 for added hilarity) in a single defend chapter or something. See if you can win without losing anyone or something.
Crimson Red
I think the fun would be that you would lose almost everyone.
Jubby
Couldn't you just go in Nightmare and change a rout chapter to have all the enemies be players and all the player characters enemies? You might also have to make it so that the new enemies don't give you exp (cause generics can't level up) but that'd work, wouldn't it?
