Hector- Awesome, if not an incredible pain in the ass to rescue after he promotes. Eliwood- Roy isn't my favorite Lord, but once he gets the Sword Of Seals, he becomes...wait, this isn't Roy? Lyndis- Gotta love that Manni Katti, not to be confused with the italian dish of a similar name. You can love that too though, noone's stopping you. Marcus- He's so awesome, I'm going to be sad that he'll be absent for a greater portion of the game. WHY MARCUS WHY? Merlinus- Thanks for carrying my weapons, OLD MAN. Wait this isn't FE6. Thanks for carrying my weapons, WIMP. Ninian- Awesome as always. Nils- Not quite as awesome. Geitz/Wallace- Both guys are awesome, although Wallace may not be the most useful character out there. Athos- Fucking GENIUS! Sain- He's great as always, although without the Lyn Mode levels to back him up, he won't be as godly as he could've been. Dammit, why did Lyn Mode have to be taken off? Priscilla- My favorite healer in this game, designated Warp user, and troubadour which may be one of my favorite classes. Too bad she doesn't start out with swords like Ethlin. Isadora- I hear she's really good too, and who doesn't like them paladins? She may need a Body Ring though. Farina- Best pegasus knight in the game, it's a shame about her availability though. Guy- I couldn't get Raven, so it's time to go for the next best thing! Guys a beast, even if he's not quite as awesome as Raven turns out. Harken- Another one of my favorite characters, you just can't go wrong with heroes, can you? Wil- I GOT WIL HORACE! Also I guess he's kinda OK and I may give the Brave Bow to him (if I don't end up getting Geitz) Chapter 11- 6/6 turns Standard 6 turn clear with Matthew giving Hector the Elixir and running for his life after the left door is opened. Chapter 12- 4/10 turns So I sent Marcus to help Hector, poor guy was soloing everyone, while Eliwood took care of like 2 enemies on the bottom. Good job buddy, couldn't have done it without you. Chapter 13- 6/16 turns Due to poor starting position of Marcus, I couldn't do this in 5 turns. Also it would've been hard to get Guy in that amount of turns. Chapter 13x- 7/23 turns OK, this went as planned. Hector did fuck all, taking the left side of two enemies, Eliwood and Marcus went up with Eliwood going to the village (unfortunately, the boss got off scott free), and Guy took the southern reinforcements. Good stuff. Chapter 14- 4/27 turns Well, that was easy enough. Marcus destroyed everything, while Guy, Eliwood, and Hector cleaned up. Hector wasn't even particularly good at cleanup, not being able to Wolf Beil a cavalier that Eliwood could. You are dissapointing me, Hector. This is, of course, after I had to redo the chapter. Note that Marcus almost died and Guy got the perfect level up. Yay! Also I got Priscilla this time. Goddess Icon to Guy because who the fuck else needs it? Chapter 15- 7/34 turns Easy enough, Eliwood went south with Marcus, Guy went left, Hector went north, and Priscilla went EVERYWHERE. Of note is that Eliwood ORKOed Sealen...the wimp. Chapter 16- 9/43 turns IT'S A MYSTERY TO EVERYONE Chapter 17- 12/55 turns So my main party rushed ahead while Matthew and Wil went to the bottom treasure chest room. Wil was surprisingly helpful, taking care of the Shaman and the archer, even if he did miss a 94% hit. Everyone else rushed forward, then split off near the top treasure room. Sain, Hector, and Priscilla went to the boss room, with Lyn helping later on. Eliwood took care of the thief, and Guy finished off the reinforcements. So I got both promotion items! Now I just need a Guilding Ring and I think I'm set (you don't deserve a promotion item, Wil). Chapter 17x- 5/60 turns Fun stuff. I probably could've shaved one turn off, but screw it. I don't want to. Chapter 18- 3/63 turns Yay, rescue dropping! Nay for Priscilla getting no EXP! Nah very much! So let's take a look at my team thus far! Holy shit Hector, that speed! Also your other stats. They're also pretty great. Still, not quite as surprising as... WHAT. He's pretty much excelling in every stat, I don't get it, Eliwood's not supposed to be good! Oh Lyn, you just had to balance out the rest of the general awesome of my party by bringing...these stats. I don't think she's gained anything except Skill/Speed. Guy is a classy motherfucker, look at how ridiculous his strength is! His other stats are also doing really well, and he has some semblance of defence. Awesome as always, couldn't have done it without you. I don't think he's particularly amazing this run, but still his stats are nothing to sneeze at. I'll probably promote the guy in 5 or 6 levels. is actually contributing. Wow, thanks a lot Wil! Doing things that someone like Nino would never be able to accomplish! Oh well, I'll live I guess. Basically Guy soloed the top portion of the map, Hector soloed the middle section, and everyone else went towards Uhai. Fiora get herself killed, unfortunately, but them's the breaks. Chapter 19x- 5/75 turns Well that was easy enough. With some creative rescuing and the fact that Sain ORKOed the Armors with a Javelin, this chapter was incredibly easy. Swordsmaster Guy destroys the boss. Chapter 20- 6/81 turns This chapter was also fun, with everyone going straight to the boss, Lyn recruiting Legault for his stolen items, Hector OHKOing the boss when he otherwise would've ORKOed the boss, etc. Good times. I also got Wil to take the Brave Bow thanks to some Unlock staff from Priscilla. Question- Can undrafted thieves steal items? It was never mentioned in the rules, I had Legault steal the Member Card, but if that's the case, I'll throw away the Member Card, no harm done. Just wish this was specified, because noone in chat at the time was willing to help me out on this. Chapter 21- 3/84 turns Nothing easier than cruise controlling my way to victory. The levels here were also phenomenal, and I'm promoting Sain at the end of this chapter. Fun stuff. Chapter 22- 3/87 turns Did you honestly believe your pitiful Reaver weapons were a match for me? Thanks Sainadin, you've got this game in the bag. Oh, and Ninian helped and Isadora ate her own hat, er, I mean Angelic Robe. Chapter 23- 5/92 turns I was really worried about the desert chapter, but my worries turned out to be unfounded. An easy 5 turn clear with Pent destroying everything in sight. Thanks Pent, couldn't have done it without you. Afa's Drops to Eliwood! I can't waste this rare opportunity where Eliwood turns good! Good thing I got the Ocean Seal and the Body Ring last chapter, I'll need them to be able to afford Farina's high recruitment requirement. Well, the Ocean Seal I mean, Body Ring is going to Isadora. Chapter 24- 2/94 turns All you need to know is that Guy OHKOed Lloyd with a SS crit. Chapter 25- 9/103 turns I know I fucked up big time, but I think it's really hard to do it in less without a flyer until Farina comes. Farina has ridiculously awesome stats, too bad I seem to not have any Elysian Whips. FUCK. I promoted Priscilla here. And Wil too because Why not? LHM being optional? then the ones that do lyn mode will be 50 or so turns worse than those who skip it... Refa Posted February 14, 2012 Share Posted February 14, 2012 Chapter 26- 11/114 turns Those reinforcements were obnoxious, but everything went fine, with Eliwood taking the north western segment of enemies and doing nothing after (BTW, did I mention I promoted Eliwood? Because I did, and it was awesome), Hector going straight north, taking the Pegasus Knights, and later drawing Vaida away so Farina could get some sweet Killer weapons for my party. Everyone else meandered in the middle for a while before going south to take care of the stupid reinforcements. Sain soloed the enemies en route to the house. Chapter 32x - 1/150 turns Warp Dart in and Silver axe blick Kishuna Chapter Final Part 1 - 3/153 turns Serra unlocks Ursula's Room, and Florina kills Ursula with a Javelin crit blick (not nescessary), Athos is warped up, rescues Eliwood, and Eliwood unlocks the Reed bro's room and canto's away. Dart open's Brendan's room, and waits with a Killer axe. Athos kills Lloyd EP, Florina hits Ursula, Dart double crits Brendan with Killer (not nescessary again, Bartre was hanging around). On turn 2, Pent heals Athos, who kills Linus, and is danced over to the magic room, using a pure water. Florina killer Lances Jerme, while Marcus Killer Axe crit + Durandal kill Uhai. Lyn kills one sniper. I forget what Hector did, but it wasn't important yet. Bartre kills Brendan's Warrior bud. Athos kills the dark mage dude and Kenneth EP, the Sniper remaining hits Lyn. Lyn kills the other Sniper, Hector opens Darin's door, Dart Basilikos's him, then Marcus killed the other General with a Killer Axe crit + hit. Oswin kills the sage that attacked Serra with Bolting, and Nergal is revealed. Serra physic's Athos who had taken some minimal damage, and Pent warps him up to near Nergal. He attacks Nergal with Luna (at +6 res he is 3HKO'd) twice, and finished EP. Final Part 2 - 1/154 turns Athos hit the dragon twice, was recovered by Serra, who was rescued by Florina and Athos finished EP. It's a good thing Athos exists, becuase Lyn was OHKO'd, Eliwood was doubled and OHKO'd, and Hector was doubled and 2HKO'd. 180 - 20 - 6 defend chapter turns = 154, unless my maths are wrong at this time of night. Oh, I didn't do 28x, did I tell you that? Because I didn't, and I skipped it like a boss. Screw you too, Sonia. Chapter 31- 11/WHO THE FUCK KNOWS TURNS This was some chapter which involved literally no strategy whatsoever. Fun! Chapter 31x- Chapter 31x/WHO THE FUCK KNOWS TURNS + 11 + Chapter 31x Yay for javelins! And hand axes! And hookers! Also, I had Harken stay in the Arena for 5 turns. I GUESS I could have spread out the levels or some crap like that, but I'd much rather watch Harken make the arena his bitch. THAT'S RIGHT SWORDSMASTER WITH THE OBNOXIOUSLY HIGH CRIT RATE, HARKEN KOed YOU WITH TWO 58%s. GOOD JOB WITH THE MISSING THERE. And that's how all of Ositia's able bodied men came to an end (setting up the story for why Hector the awesome got crushed so easily in FE6). They thought they could beat Harken. Defence Shield to Eliwood. Let's see him with some max defence! Body Ring to Eliwood. Let's see him somewhat competently wield Durandal and maybe hopefully no who am I kidding, double the dragon. Chapter 32- 7/TOO MANY TURNS! TOO MANY TURNS! So I have noone to rescue Hector's promoted ass. Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... God this chapter is a pain because Hector sucks. Guess what idiot has two thumbs and made this chapter twice as hard by not giving Farina the Delphi Shield...again? Chapter 32x- 1 + 4/ARGH THERE'S NO HOPE I've had enough of this crap, Priscilla you dissapoint, Pent, thanks for the help bro! Harken uses the Tomahawk for a 16% critblick. RnG ABUSE! Final Chapter Part 1- 3/HOLY SHIT I CAN'T BELIEVE I ACTUALLY DID THAT I have to bring Lyn? Bollocks. Talisman to Eliwood! So I finished this in 3 turns. Glad to know I wasn't hoarding all of those Door Keys for no reason. Final Chapter Part 2- ELIWOOD RULES, ATHOS RULES, HECTOR YOU'RE KINDA OK, LOL LYN YOU FAILBOT' So let's take a look at my final team, shall we? Unfortunately due to Lyn and her aforementioned sucking, I couldn't use Guy. Sorry Guy, you were fantastic, but forced deployment slots robbed you of the opportunity that you so deserved. Hector turned out fantastic for me, it's a shame about his late promotion. As you can see though, he got really lucky with the speed, although I'm not too sure about the rest, it looks about par to me. Oh god, Eliwood. Oh my god. He turned out to be REALLY REALLY good, and was one of the best contributors to my team. This is the first good Eliwood I've ever gotten, hopefully he turns out to be this good in future FE7 drafts. Shockingly enough, Marcus doesn't hold up all that well when you ignore him for most of the game only to put him into the last portion of maps. Sorry dudebro, I love ya, but you certainly didn't contribute all that much besides opening doors in the final chapter. Guy was so awesome. That ridiculous speed of his probably would've came in handy during the final chapter, but that defence...Sorry Guy, wish I could've brought you instead of Lyn, but your contributions for the rest of the game sure were fantastic. Priscilla was one with the turn saving, but due to my lack of foresight which left her unable to attack for 90% of the game despite an early promotion, she didn't get as many levels as she could, and I really needed some more Warp distance. Oh well, Priscilla still saved a bunch of turns and made the earlier chapters relatively painless. Sain is a fucking god who soloed Linus and Lloyd (with some healing). What a badass. Also he made the rest of the game his bitch too. Way more useful than Lyn. Isadora turned out way better than Marcus ever did. Actually, her stats as a whole are pretty fucking fantastic. I dunno about what crashgordin(freeman) thinks, but Isadora is awesome stuff. GOD ALMIGHTY I don't often get dudes who cost me turns, but when I do, I go for Harken. Best dancer ever.
