BK-201
I do find it really hard to defend Rapelay's "merits," but does getting rid of all H-games mean you'd ban all games with sex in them? I'm guessing he means games marketed solely for sexual value, it's not inclusion but focus. *sigh* You're just thoughtlessly turning it back at me, as if to say "NO U". Not everything goes both ways. Can't tell if you're serious here.

BK-201
I am, that's really all he's doing. Original statement still applies. Also, if you really think that this argument is that important for you take it to a PM instead of continuing to derail this thread. Yeah, taking this to a PM is stupid but so is the entire reason why you are arguing. Unless you're trolling me, then derp.
Gone2Ground
The Cover-Based Shooter is a genre in and of itself now, and needs to be removed. The last real FPS I played was Half-Life 2. Now, where's that 6-hour expansion you've been working on for the last forever, Valve? Don't make me pick up the Blue Gravity Gun...
uguu
Most visual novels aren't even video games. They're books, CYoA books at best, but still books. Some have gameplay, but most of those are SRPGs, so I suppose we'll have to make a compromise. SRPGs. I hate them. Then you haven't been playing the right ones. Have you tried SUPER ROBOT WARS? We have a thread!! A bad one, but still!! But yes, let's get rid of all non-SRW SRPGs!!

Rehab
Yes. As entertaining as Ace Attorney can be, the actual gameplay is horrible and by far the worst part of the game. Ace Attorney is a bad game; but it's a good anime. My problem with that is that I really like the court battles, for all their flaws, and no medium that I can't interact with would give me the same satisfaction of being able to say "I see the link! I got you!" and feel like I saved the day. A lot of the snooping does sometimes feel like filler, and certain stretches can be trying and tedious, but I'd like to hope they can be modified to make a better-flowing game than not making a game based on them at all. I'm guessing he means games marketed solely for sexual value, it's not inclusion but focus. I'm afraid I'm still not convinced. Uninteractive masturbation material seems to me to just be porn comics with sound and possibly animation, but I don't immediately see what's wrong with that unless it's maliciously made, and hypothetically I think there's enough room for somebody to make a compelling game somehow based on sex without it being solely fap fuel. @Crash: Cover-based shooters = Gears of War and in large part recent Mass Effects, basically. Not always my favorites on pure gameplay's merits, but I think Vanquish shows there's still some room for entertaining stuff in there by putting just about everything in the genre on steroids, especially mobility and scale. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iKN_ZjI7tOI

Integrity
What more do you need, exactly? He gave you two perfect examples of the genre, and the name itself it a dead giveaway. They're shooter games with an emphasis on taking cover.
Balcerzak
hypothetically I think there's enough room for somebody to make a compelling game somehow based on sex without it being solely fap fuel. I would say 'certainly', not just hypothetically. It's even easier for a game to be compelling with explicit sexual content that isn't necessarily the basis but merely an aspect, of varying degree of importance. I dont wanna say shooters because shit like Doom and Wolfenstein 3D and Heretic were the fucking shiznit. But i really dont like the FPSes of today and i want them to go away forever. (and bring back the old school. TF2 is doing right, folks!)
