Agile Tit-Tyrant
I really don't care about games I already know are coming out I just want new announcements! Edited June 7, 2012 by Xmas
上昇Taiyou
IS is talking about Paper Mario right now. I hope they stay on stage to introduce a certain other RPG's localization.
Phoenix Wright
Exactly! E3 is supposed to be for announcements, or so I thought. All we've got is news about games we've already freaking known about--it's frustrating. Castlevania is new though, and it looks awesome. Well, over twenty or thirty minutes in, we're still on Mario. I don't think FE: A is going to be announced...it's what I thought last year with FE12, and I was right then. 上昇Taiyou
Wow. NOTHING new was unveiled tonight. Fire Emblem bites the dust at e3 2012....hard.....REAL hard.
Blademaster!
Wow, that was really pointless. They showed nothing new, and talked about PKMN B&W2, and although I am excited for those games, it's not for the 3DS. There was really no point to that conference. Agile Tit-Tyrant
Castlevania is new though, and it looks awesome. No actually it was announced before E3. I didn't give a shit about ANY of those games talked about. DAMN YOU NINTENDO Edited June 7, 2012 by Xmas
Phoenix Wright
Castlevania wasn't new? EDIT: Just saw the response. Doesn't matter though. NOTHING else was new. Come on, E3. You were absolutely disappointing this year. Edited June 7, 2012 by Phoenix Wright
shadowofchaos
There we have it folks! Nintendo of Japan's getting my money. Nothing during E3 about FE13. Time to drop $500.
Gold Vanguard
Damnit Nintendo that was not worth all the time and waiting. I could have done something better with my life
Anouleth
I don't normally watch these but are they supposed to be this awful?

Why not get a European model and game so you can read the game's text? (This is assuming you know English far better than Japanese, if you know Japanese at all.) Blademaster!
I don't normally watch these but are they supposed to be this awful? Compared to everything else at this years E3, I'd say no. Compared to other E3's, I'd say yes. EDIT so no double post: @Astra's post: If that is true, bless you IGN. Edited June 7, 2012 by Blademaster! Celice
They've been getting progressively worse as they go on. The last really awesome e3 was back around the time the Wii was shown. 3DS was pretty interesting too. Rest of the stuff is pretty lackluster
Guest
As I started to suspect mid-conference, Nintendo wasn't going to show it on stage due to being somewhat low-profile but multiple sources have confirmed Fire Emblem: Awakening coming to the States. https://twitter.com/...553654393044992 https://twitter.com/...553611237863424 Edited June 7, 2012 by Guest
Mikado
https://twitter.com/...553654393044992 Huh, this is interesting. I'm betting it's fake. And yeah this conference was a disappointment. >.<
AstraLunaSol
http://nintendoeverything.com/90818/fire-emblem-awakening-heading-to-north-america-apparently/ Awww yeah. Dammit Nintendo, why do you not announce this during any of the press conferences.
sallas09
https://twitter.com/...553654393044992 Huh, this is interesting. Sounds great but I'd need more proof to actually believe it. Now if you excuse me, I'm about to drop several hundred dollars on Japanese Nintendo hardware and a language teacher.
shadowofchaos
Why not get a European model and game so you can read the game's text? (This is assuming you know English far better than Japanese, if you know Japanese at all.) Ignoring the twitter thing and treating it as not valid YET to address your question... 1. Because of the region lock, getting a European 3DS JUST for one game is pointless, since most of the European titles would release to the US anyway. 2. There are more Japanese only games that I'd like to buy for the 3DS. 3. Ask TheEnd if I know Japanese to a decent enough level to understand plots of games without a dictionary. BBM
Well, if there are games other than FE13 that aren't leaving Japan, go ahead, but that twitter feed is from one of the executives of IGN. That's a pretty reliable source.
Book of Ereshkigal
In case you haven't been in the awakening section: NoA confirmed it on their twitter. https://twitter.com/#!/NintendoAmerica

That's a pretty reliable source. "If". Ha ha ha. There are a bunch of games that aren't fit for any market other than Japan. Also, with Nintendo's confirmation... that basically means I'm going to have to drop a lot of money for both region's systems and games. Ah well... BBM
Well, I'd meant to say, "if there are games other than FE13 that aren't leaving Japan that you want as well".
