Aircalipoor Posted June 27, 2012 Share Posted June 27, 2012 Both Caeda and Catria got promoted(DK respective FK). Caeda gained 1 Spd and Catria 3 Spd to they respective stats. Why did they gain one extra point of speed? Because they would have theoretically gained a point of speed by their former level-ups(but were restricted by the stat cap)? Promotion gains are simply the difference in base stats when switching from a non-promoted, base class to a promoted class. However they can also be affected by caps--both the base class's or the promoted class's. Say you reclassed Caeda to an Archer before promoting to Pegasus Knight... Archer has a base Speed of 4, Pegasus Knight 7 and Falcon Knight 9. If her Speed is 18 as Archer, then you reclass to Pegasus Knight, her Speed will be 18 + (7 - 4) = 21, reduced to 20 because of caps. However, when you promote Caeda, the game moves her up from 21 Speed to 23 Speed instead of 20 to 22. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
