The DLC chapters don't clash with with the main quests, but the main quests can live without any DLC (or SpotPass teams), with no mention whatsoever of even the other-world gate itself. The only thing that looks apparent is that Spirit Talisman happens before the other talisman battles, although that's beyond the question. I don't think so; it's just similar to the portals that were used for time travel. The portal in Ch1 was in the sky above Iris, and I think it disappeared afterward. VincentASM Posted July 12, 2012 Share Posted July 12, 2012 I seem to recall Valhart's ending mentions that he conquered a continent in another/the other world, so the DLC is probably canon. I also noticed that if you look carefully at the Other World Gate on the world map, I believe it has the same magic circle design as the portals that the undead use to travel (with the zodiac symbols). Emelina living was made of crack, but the Spotpass gaidens seem to be about as canon as any other gaiden chapter in the series. I definitely mean the "For Purchase".
