FE8 Lunatic Patch Test Draft 1

This is a test draft to test the overall balance of the playable units thus far in the patch im working on.

This is only done up to chapter 8, so we will only play up to there.

About the Patch:

1. It aims to recreate the difficulty of Lunatic mode Fire Emblem 12.

2. It also aims to have a balanced cast, where all units are usable.

3. Weapons now have more hit. This is to make dodging enemies less prevalent.

4. PC growths have been increased (with the exception of Seth). Gilliam is now a Mercenary and

character bases are better, for the most part.

Drafting:

1. This draft is for 3 players.

2. Eirika, Ephraim, Seth, Orson, Moulder and Natasha are free for all.

3. The game will be played on Hard Mode (Easy mode crashes) up to the end of Chapter 8.

Rules:

1. Undrafted units may recruit characters, rescue undrafted units and NPCs, trade, visit Shops and Armories and dig up items in the desert.

2. Undrafted units may not do anything not listed above, including but not limited to meatshielding, building Supports, and opening Doors or Chests.

3. Map shopping is allowed.

4. Skirmishes/use of the Tower or Ruins is disallowed. Skirmishes that are blocking your path may be activated and immediately fled from.

5. Defend chapters count the last played Player Phase for turns if the timer is waited out.

Penalties:

1. Undrafted units have a 4 turn penalty, per unit per chapter.

Exceptions:

1. Ross and Garcia are free for Chapter 2.

2. Colm is free for Chapter 3.

3. Vanessa may be used to rescue Ross in Chapter 2 even if she is undrafted.

4. Kyle and Forde are free to counter on EP in Chapter 8.

Teams:

Cam: Franz, Neimi, Lute, Forde

Jedi: Gilliam, Ross, Artur, Kyle

*PKL: Vanessa, Garcia, Joshua, Colm

Edit the ch2 village's items. (no more pure water in the final version, so try not to get used to it)

Make mogalls weak against bows.

Warp completely out of the game.

Make Sieglinde and Siegmund give +2 in every stat when equipped.

More turnbased reinforcements (dont know how to do this yet)

Play blind for now he says. You sure made a lot of changes to the first few chapters it seems since the last patch. Yea, its a bit more lunatic now lol (and crazy)

And why take the patch link down? Am I and others not allowed to help you test this at all?

Actually, it might be more fun to see it when its completely finished.

You're allowed :P. I took it down because I dont want everyone to get ahold of it yet.

Oh my God...Im stuck in my own patch's chapter 3 haha. That's a good sign, right?

I'm here too atm, lol PKL, maybe you made it tiny bit TOO rough =P

Chapter 2 - 7/17 turns

Chapter 3 - 11/28 turns

I probably could have cut a lot of turns off of C3 but I made a bunch of mistakes and this was like the third take anyway.

Seth should have had the Iron Sword equipped when he opened the door, Eirika should have moved next to Seth instead of in front of him to support, etc.

Oh well.
