I was having the worst dream, apparently I had no sooner than caught my first companion in my soon-to-be world renowned Pokemon Odyssey when that patoot who lives next door sent me on the knuckle train to fist planet! Thank god that's over though. Any idea of what time it is, I really need to leave early so I can get my pick of the litter, so as to pick, and leave all of the other trainers in the dust. For over 70 days... What the hell is wrong with me?! At this rate, all of those other Pallet Town butts will have become Pokemon Masters before I even get so much as a peek at my first Pokemon! On the other hand, it does give me a good chance to enact my vengeance upon him...vengeance for that dream that never happened! Oh right, you don't know much about me, do you? Well, if you couldn't tell by my image and the bold text to the right, the name's But you can just call me Hiro Protagonist (hint hint wink wink nudge nudge sparkle sparkle kapow kapow). My pros include being the best there ever was (potentially), wit unparalleled, humble to a fault, and sketching. My cons include nothing because I have no weaknesses, you can take that message to the other kids from Pallet! Also I'm very beautiful. And before I forget, here's my not quite as lovable neighbor, er...what is his name exactly? Oh right, Jedi. Seems kind of like a weird name for the obvious antagonist, doesn't it (he's been quite jealous of me for the longest time, in particular of my humbleness; being a natural braggart at heart, he can't help it)? You can just call him Vylan Antagonist. If you switch my strengths and weaknesses around, you get the basic gist of his. Now you might be wondering why I was comatose for 70+ days. Well, I don't know for sure, but it could have something to do with the last thing I remember myself doing... I couldn't help it, the internet was too addicting. I sat there all turn doing nothing. Well, I shall laze about NO MORE!! Now remind me how this walking thing works. Wait, hold that thought. I believe I forgot something rather important... Just in case I trip or something. Hey, I wonder if Jedi has any spare wound cures I can use? I mean, it's not like he needs them, riiiiiiiight? I don't actually want to tell Jedi this because it'd be awkward, but I'm fairly certain his sister is in love with me. Well, I certainly can't blame her, I am a rather charismatic individual. And a lovely map it is! "Then we could plan our trip, with one way tickets!" OK, now I'm sure she wants to elope with me. As lovely as Daisy is, I'm terrified of commitment, so I think I'll just skeeve off to Oak's lab. For destiny! I'm sure they had some other choice words to say about the subject, I got bored and left halfway through the conversation. It all translated to "Blablabla we're too lazy, blablabla SCIENCE" anyways. Yeah, yeah, professor, tall grass, dangerous, don't go, I get it. Haha! I fooled Jedi there pretty good, didn't I? I know his evil ways of deception, he probably just doesn't want me getting a head start on him! God drats, you just ruined my head start. Thanks a lot. Now I'll never catch up to the other Pallet trainers in time to tell them that I'm better than them. I better get a good Pokemon out of this! Not a CHU CHU ROCKET! I hope so, it's been 70 days since the last trainers arrived, surely more than enough time for you to catch 3 more. From what I hear, they hated each other's guts and duked it out right here. Could be fun to reenact that, you never know. what holy shit did i just hear that All I can say is my deepest apologies to any Pokemon that Jedi happens to catch. HE'S WONDERFUL. I can feel it in my heart, this is the one I must pick. Almost as if it'd been preordained by destiny, chosen by a higher power, divided up between a set of other trainers, you get the point. Sure, why not? Heck, I'll say anything as long as I get to keep the cute little dude. But of course, this just isn't any TORTO, it's my TORTO! I've got to give him a name worthy of the great deeds he shall do. This one hits the mark, I mean he's blue, Finn has blue hair (although I really named him after the Adventure Time Finn), what could possibly go wrong? ...I can't believe he did that. Did you see that smirk on his face, he took that just to spite me! Well, I'm having none of that, if he wants to play that way, fine. It's on. I don't half ass anything. THAT WAS A CHEAP SHOT I can't believe I'm losing to Jedi. This is just like that dream which I swore I'd get vengeance for! Yes, I win as usual, for as you see, justice (but more importantly, the Hiro) always wins! You can go on for days about the Vylan's faults, but I can vouch for him on one thing; he never stiffs you on a payment. Or maybe that's just me because his sister wants me to get enough money to elope with her, who knows? My grand adventure has to start somewhere, doesn't it? Finn's got this covered, don't any of you worry about a thing. Oh hey, who's that over there? NO HE'S CALLING ME A LOSER But as long as it's getting me free samples, I ain't complaining. I'd read it, but it's so...tacky!! Clearly if the saps who designed this bulletin board couldn't bother with the effort of making it appear sophisticated, then I can't be bothered reading it. Yes, yes, I'll take this fishy parcel to him, no questions asked, as usual. Hey, there's never such a thing as too much goods of PET! Did he have to pass out in the exact position needed to prevent me from going merrily along through Viridian Forest? Why not more vertical? I'm feeling....so sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeepy. ... Where am I? What am I doing?,,,this parcel. I have the vague feeling it's needed back at Pallet Town, but I don't know why. Wieeeeeeerd....Well, my instincts have never failed me before! Oh right, Oak. I bring these to the guy all the time, I can't believe I forgot that. Well anyways, turns out I'm not the only one that's forgetful! Maybe his package is a Rememberall. I didn't even preorder the game, this is great! And with that, the epic journey begins for real. Cue the title drop! Join me next time as I strive to catch up to the upstarts that got ahead of me somehow I don't even know I think they cheated somehow.
