shadowofchaos
Mayans are on Pacific Time zone. Not only that, the last day is the 21st. So it has to be midnight of the 22nd before everything just suddenly explo--- Bwahahahahahahaha, who am I kidding? https://dl.dropbox.com/u/5490460/Laughter.mp3
Acacia Sgt
Wish I could share the cheery expression... I remember reading an article stating something of 5:30AM local time (which would be, Middle Time? It's the one after Mountain Time at any rate). Eh... *shrugs*
secondworld
Dang it I got the time wrong! Whatever, still not going to happen. Edited December 21, 2012 by RayDavid99
shadowofchaos
Whatever, still not going to happen. I only have ONE... exactly ONE regret if it does. Bwahahahahahaha. And a lot of SF'ers would regret never being able to play FE13. Edited December 21, 2012 by shadowofchaos

Well screw you too pal. However, if the world ends via Vogons making an interstellar highway, at least I'll die laughing. It would prove that yes, the universe does have a twisted sense of humor. Acacia Sgt
Well, that thing about the hour may not even be exact even if it was true. I only have ONE... exactly ONE regret if it does. Bwahahahahahaha. And a lot of SF'ers would regret never being able to play FE13. How did you know!? Eh, I would perhaps say it would be with Sengoku Basara. More so sine the earliest it would've arrived would've been... the 21st of all days.

Life
How could the Mayans predict the end of the world? They certainly didn't predict the Spanish coming.
Just call me AL
I'm more interested in the recent stupidity of a West Virginian lawmaker than I am interested in some great cataclysm that's not gonna happen. Make of that what you will.
Zanarkin
This always made me giggle a little. I thought the mayan calendar was one big circle with 2 smaller circles inside and that today is when it resets. In other words their calendar didn't end but rather began the cycle again since it was made... In anycase its all a hoax, like every other doomsday prediction, and if the world does end nobody will have much time to notice it anyway. Unless its not the literal destruction of the world but rather the downfall of human culture and society. ZemZem
I was more worried over finals and the rumor of a school shooting going around than the supposed apocalypse. Edited December 21, 2012 by ZM456
