Gold Vanguard
And it's freaking terrible. My face is swollen, my mouth hurts, and I can't eat hardly anything.

Rehab
Follow your doctor's instructions to the letter and hang tight, dude, you won't have to deal with it much longer. Think of it this way: every second you spend in pain now is time you won't have to spend in (potentially exponentially greater) pain years from now. I recommend holding ice to your jaws, and if your body accepts them, all the painkillers you can safely take and maybe to take them just a tiny bit earlier than they recommend as far as "once every X hours," though the word of anybody more knowledgeable or professional should be taken above mine on that oh yeah and gauze, if you need it tell me they gave you gauze if they didn't, lie and say they did Edited January 23, 2013 by Rehab
Fruity Insanity
You must be a pretty developed 14-year-old. :P The average age for wisdom teeth is 17-18, yet, at 14, yours are already out. o_O I don't have my wisdom teeth yet. ^^ Might not get them at all... Teapot
Enjoy your 2 weeks of suffering. If losing weight was one of your resolutions for this year, then you've taken the first step to accomplishing it. Straws are your friends. Zanarkin
I had such an easy week when i got mine taken out. I expected the worst but it never got worst than a mild toothache and i didn't have to take the strong medicine for a lot of pain.. Straws are your friends. Do not drink through straws, its only going to pull on your sensitive injury.
Shadow Stalker X
Still have my wisdom teeth. Had to go through surgery when I was younger to get 4 teeth removed (for reasons I can't remember), so I never had to get my wisdom teeth removed. Inactive Account
Yeah straws can cause dry socket which you absolutely do not want. You will probably get really damn tired of yogurt.
Elieson
Two words. Dry Socket Don't use straws.
redturtle806
Dry sockets are hell. You can get them from smoking too fyi. Ya the pain is bad, just double up on the pills they gave you. And if you can get your bros to make you pot brownies do it.

Hawk King
My mouth was big enough for my wisdom teeth to fit so I never had to get them out. Good luck. Grammar lesson: It is incorrect to use "can't" with "hardly".
