VulneqSVB/=
Okay. So I kinda need help with skills to pass down and to get--here is a list of all my units (the ones that have kids) and their kids, and the skills I want them to get. Chrom - Lord -> Cavalier -> Great Knight -> Paladin -> Great Lord Olivia - Dancer -> Pegasus Knight -> Dark Flier -> Myrmidon -> Assassin -> Swordsmaster -> Dancer Lucina - (Galeforce/Aether) Inigo - (Galeforce/Rightful King) Lon'qu - Myrmidon -> Assassin -> Swordsmaster Leclaire (MU, Skill = Asset, Defense = Flaw) -> Tactician -> Grandmaster -> Pegasus Knight -> Dark Flier Morgan - (Galeforce/Lethality) Sumia - Pegasus Knight -> Dark Flier -> Falcon Knight Frederick - Cavalier -> Great Knight -> General Cynthia - (Galeforce/Aegis) Maribelle - Troubadour -> Valkyrie -> Pegasus Knight -> Dark Flier -> Valkyrie Ricken - Mage -> Sage -> Dark Knight -> Great Knight -> Paladin Brady - (Galeforce/Aegis) Lissa - Troubadour -> Sage -> Dark Flier -> Pegasus Knight -> Falcon Knight Donnel - Villager -> Mercenary -> Hero Owain - (Galeforce/Sol) Stahl - Cavalier -> Great Knight -> Paladin Miriel - Mage -> Dark Knight -> Sage -> Dark Knight Laurent - (Lifetaker/Aegis) Sully - Cavalier -> Paladin Virion - Archer -> Sniper -> Bow Knight Kjelle - (Aegis/Tomebreaker) Tharja - Dark Mage -> Archer -> Sniper -> Dark Knight Henry - Dark Mage -> Thief -> Assassin -> Sorcerer Noire - (Vengeance/Wrath) Panne - Taguel -> Thief -> Assassin -> Griffon Knight Gaius - Thief -> Assassin -> Swordsmaster -> Assassin Yarne - (Lancebreaker/Lethality) Cherche - Wyvern Knight -> Wyvern Lord Vaike - Fighter -> Hero -> Barbarian -> Warrior -> Berserker Gerome - (Dual Support+/Wrath) Cordelia - Pegasus Knight -> Mercenary -> Hero Libra - Cleric -> War Cleric -> Dark Knight? Severa - (Vengeance/Lifetaker) Nowi - Manakete -> Wyvern Knight -> Wyvern Lord -> Manakete Gregor - Mercenary -> Hero -> Berserker Nah - (Swordbreaker/Vantage) Kellam - Knight -> Thief -> Assassin -> General -> Great Knight Say'ri - Swordmaster -> Assassin Anna - Thief -> Trickster Tiki - Manakete -> Wyvern Knight -> Wyvern Lord -> Manakete Edited March 25, 2013 by VulneqSVB/=
ZemZem
You have a bit of a mixup: Gerome and Severa need to swap places.
Bryan
Have Donnel pass down aptitude. It's the only good solution. Just reclass him into merc
Weebos
Inigo will automatically get Rightful King from Chrom. You don't get to choose what Chrom passes down. Edited March 24, 2013 by Weebos
Ekhynoxx
Cherche - Wyvern Knight -> Wyvern Lord Vaike - Fighter -> Hero -> Barbarian -> Warrior -> Berserker Gerome - (Wyrmsbane/Armsthrift) Wait, is that possible ?
paladin21
Chrom - Lord -> Cavalier -> Great Knight -> Paladin -> Great Lord Olivia - Dancer -> Pegasus Knight -> Dark Flier -> Myrmidon -> Assassin -> Swordsmaster -> Dancer Lucina - (Galeforce/Aether) Inigo - (Galeforce?/Royal Weapon/Rightful King/Aether) Inigo won't get Aether ever. He can't reclass to the Lord tier and will always inherit Rightful King (Royal Weapon in the Japanese version). Lon'qu - Myrmidon -> Assassin -> Swordsmaster Leclaire (MU, Skill = Asset, Defense = Flaw) -> Tactician -> Grandmaster -> Pegasus Knight -> Dark Flier Morgan - (Galeforce/Vantage) Don't try to pass down Vantage to Morgan, since he'll get it automatically from the start. Since his father is Lon'qu, he'll start as a level 10 Myrmidon, thus having Vantage as a starter skill. You should pass down Astra, Lethality or Swordfaire. Sumia - Pegasus Knight -> Dark Flier -> Falcon KnightFrederick - Cavalier -> Great Knight -> General Cynthia - (Galeforce/Pavise) For Cynthia I'd pass down Aegis instead of Pavise, it will help her more since she's a Pegasus. Still Pavise is a solid choice. Maribelle - Troubadour -> Valkyrie -> Pegasus Knight -> Dark Flier -> ValkyrieRicken - Mage -> Sage -> Dark Knight -> Great Knight -> Paladin Brady - (Galeforce/Aegis) Good choice in this one. Lissa - Troubadour -> Sage -> Dark Flier -> Pegasus Knight -> Falcon KnightDonnel - Villager -> Mercenary -> Hero Owain - (Galeforce/Armsthrift) Have Donnel pass down aptitude. It's the only good solution. Just reclass him into merc Passing down Armsthrift is never a good idea, since Owain shall be able to get it just upon reclassing. Just after recruiting him, give him a second seal to reclass him as a Merc, and to give him Aptitude you can reclass him as a Villager (but give him a bronze lance). I'd pass down one of the promoted skills, like Sol or a breaker skill. Stahl - Cavalier -> Great Knight -> PaladinMiriel - Mage -> Dark Knight -> Sage -> Dark Knight Laurent - (Lifetaker/Aegis) Solid choice here. I'd be thinking about Dual Support+ for him, though. Sully - Cavalier -> PaladinVirion - Archer -> Sniper -> Bow Knight Kjelle - (Aegis/Hit Rate +20) I don't think HR+20 is that much needed. Tome/Bowbreaker would be nicer on her. Tharja - Dark Mage -> Archer -> Sniper -> Dark KnightHenry - Dark Mage -> Thief -> Assassin -> Sorcerer Noire - (Vengeance/Wrath) Good combination of skills. Pretty solid Panne - Taguel -> Thief -> Assassin -> Griffon KnightGaius - Thief -> Assassin -> Swordsmaster -> Assassin Yarne - (Beastbane/Lethality) I'd have Yarne inherit Lancebreaker instead of Beastbane, since he's only 5 levels away to get it on his own. Cherche - Wyvern Knight -> Wyvern LordVaike - Fighter -> Hero -> Barbarian -> Warrior -> Berserker Gerome - (Wyrmsbane/Armsthrift) Cherche cannot learn Wyrmsbane, that's a Manakete skill. Vaike cannot learn Armsthrift, since he cannot reclass to Merc. I'd pass down Dual Support+ from Cherche and Axefaire from Vaike. Cordelia - Pegasus Knight -> Mercenary -> HeroLibra - Cleric -> War Cleric -> Dark Knight? Severa - (Armsthrift/Lifetaker?) Severa always has Armsthrift, choose a different skill for her from her mother. Lifetaker is a nice choice, but I'd also think about Renewal. Nowi - Manakete -> Mercenary -> Myrmidon -> Swordmaster -> Valkyrie -> ManaketeGregor - Mercenary -> Hero -> Berserker Nah - (Armsthrift/Vantage) Once again Armsthrift is one reclass away for Nah. I don't know what you're doing with Nowi though. She doesn't have those choices for reclassing, just the wyvern rider and mage tiers. Kellam - Knight -> Thief -> Assassin -> General -> Great KnightSay'ri - Swordmaster -> Assassin Anna - Thief -> Trickster Anna starts as a level 1 Trickster with all the Thief skills You have a bit of a mixup: Gerome and Severa need to swap places. Gerome and Severa are in the right places.
PuffPuff
Lon'qu - Myrmidon -> Assassin -> Swordsmaster Leclaire (MU, Skill = Asset, Defense = Flaw) -> Tactician -> Grandmaster -> Pegasus Knight -> Dark Flier Morgan - (Galeforce/Vantage) Vantage for one sucks. Go with Vengence or Ignis. Donnel is also a good father for Noire so she can get Sol. It's absolutely wonderful to have Vengence along with Sol. Passing down Armsthrift is never a good idea, since Owain shall be able to get it just upon reclassing. Just after recruiting him, give him a second seal to reclass him as a Merc, and to give him Aptitude you can reclass him as a Villager (but give him a bronze lance). I'd pass down one of the promoted skills, like Sol or a breaker skill. Some of us don't want to have to go through re-classing for it. And it is especially recommended to pass down if you don't have DLC. Since your likely not going to re-class more than once throughout the game. Especially on higher difficulties. As the skirmishes EXP is too crappy for that. Unless you have War Knowledge, you should pass Armsthrift down instead as the OP suggested. Plus multi re-classing isn't needed anyway if you don't have the DLC episodes. What else is there to do post-game without DLC installed? I can tell you, nothing. We for one don't want to have to play only skirmishes other than the Final Chapter again. That's why that without DLC, there is no point. =) Edited March 24, 2013 by Lady Feena
VulneqSVB/=
Okay, so I took your things into consideration and redeveloped my team--edited my first post. HOWEVER, GALEFORCE~ Edited March 25, 2013 by VulneqSVB/=

Reclassing Owain from Myrmidon to Villager gives him -3 Strength, -9 Speed and -3 Defense which, unless both parents are super strong, will turn Owain into a terrible unit for 10 levels. I'd rather pass down Aptitude and spend 5 levels in Hero (aka a class that can actually fight) to get Sol instead. It's not like Donnel has anything really special to pass down other than Aptitude. HOWEVER, GALEFORCE~ inb4Legaultshitsonthisthread also, shouldn't Vaike be passing on something like Sol, that's a lot better than Wrath (lol) speaking of Gerome, Dual Support+ is garbage, do not pass that
VulneqSVB/=
Okay. So I have new ideas--I'm thinking of reclassing Cherche to Griffon Knight and giving Gerome Lancebreaker AND Wrath from Vaike. I've also reclassed Frederick to Paladin to get Aegis, but what else do I do now?

Ekhynoxx
I don't have the game yet (damn you NoE), but Lethality for Morgan seems... meh, it's Lethality. Look at that activation rate... Also, I'd recommend Aptitude for Owain instead of Armsthrift. You can easily reclass Owain into a merc to get armsthrift (and Sol later), but reclassing Owain into a Villager seems... wrong. And Aptitude seems pretty good. But again, this is just my opinion and I haven't played the game yet, so maybe all I say is cr*p... ^^'
Bryan
Yea, pass aptitude down. You don't want to endure the 10 levels of suck for that skill. My reclass path for Owain: Mrym - merc - hero - Swordmaster - (dread fighter) it hits everything.
Elieson
Reclass Donny's son to Villager, and pass down Underdog. Aptitude is immediately learned, and 10 levels of suck is mitigated by the use of an Arms Scrill ad a Javelin Forge. 9 levels of Villager is cake with all that. Unless this is lunatic mode. Then it's gonna be a little struggle.

(Aptitude only becomes pointless after you max all your stats...) I can think of like ten other skills I'd rather have before Underdog.
