Ein
This is how i pronounce it. (sorry for the bad quality, my mic is old as hell.) That's how I say it but if it's supposed to be pronounced like parakeet I'm gonna flip something.
BlueFire
It's *probably* strictly supposed to be pronounced manakeet, but thanks to the silly lack of limitations on our silly language I get to pick and choose what sounds best rather than what's logical! This is true. This is how i pronounce it. (sorry for the bad quality, my mic is old as hell.) I might also pronounce it that way if English was not my first language, where -ete doesn't end in "tay." Lissa's Husband
Am I the only one who pronounces it as Ma-na-kee tee?

BlueFire
...but English is my first language. In fact, its like..my only language... I was commenting on how -ete is pronounced differently in other languages and if I had learned one of those first I would pronounce it different. I'm just stating my own habit of pronouncing non-dictionary words how they would be pronounced if they were actually English words.
Aethern
Am I the only one who pronounces it as Ma-na-kee tee? Don't worry. I do that to, like how I pronounce Grado (FE8) Gr-AY-doh. Edited April 25, 2013 by Aethern
