And I do want Dixie Kong because she's cute, would add yet another female, she's unique, and she's more relevant than any of the other Kongs sans DK and Diddy who are already in Smash. She's also more relevant than K. Rool since the latter doesn't seem to be used anymore, whereas Dixie is playable in the most recent DK game.

I really want to play a game that she's playable in, but I hear that the DK games that include her are really hard. And the original Donkey Kong Country was harder for me than any of the old Mario games (sans The Lost Levels. Oh those are hell...).

Ana, you should definitely play Tropical Freeze. It's hard, but the learning curve is gentle enough for you to learn your way through the game.

As a fan of the classical Donkey Kong Country games, I have to recommend them to you. They're hard, yes, but they are still appropriately hard. And there's no better feeling in gaming than finally beating that stupid level you have been trying to do for the last few hours curse you, Toxic Tower! >.<

For me, the difficulty of the games is what really makes them superior to games of the same genre like Mario or Kirby. That and the stunningly beautiful visuals and the best soundtrack in gaming history.
