from what I've read, it's that the results screen is a sort of stage, and as the wario man model is replaced with wario while the match ends, wario reappears on the results screen but with weird stuff like that

(if you'll notice, he also won with a team he wasn't on)

I hope you guys don't mind if I shift topics a bit, but what do you guys find is the best way to get high quality equipment? I've been doing plenty of Classic 9.0 runthroughs, but I keep getting equipment that adds +30 to +50 to stats most of the time, and I rarely get +70 or +80 stat boosting equipment.

Uh, can you explain both? I've never actually heard of either before.

...wait, the former is basically using Heavenly Light on Trophy Rush, right? Well, it does get plenty of customs, but not particularly good ones from what I've experienced.

No. I've done it many times on my original 3DS and had no problems whatsoever.
