JSND Alter Dragon Boner
In the context of map design, are Nightmare modules enough to make a proper map? I don't mean in a way where I can add new unit type or something, just a repositioning, and editting in general. thx
Crimson Red
You can use the chapter unit editors to edit existing units and their placements, classes, inventories, etc. but you can't add units easily nor can you do a lot of stuff that makes a map unique like reinforcements etc. EDIT: and in case it wasn't obvious, you can't actually edit the map itself, though I think you know that Edited June 27, 2013 by Burning Gravity
JSND Alter Dragon Boner
The edited bits are the answer that I am seeking thanks What is the hackin program that allowed editting on the map itself?
Agro
You can use Mappy or Tiled and then use Nintenlord's Mappy Inserter or Tiled Inserter to insert the maps. It will require Nightmare, probably a hex editor, and some common sense.
Crimson Red
you can't actually like edit the map live and then just hit save, there are a few steps to it keep that in mind
