I was only here because I heard Cynthia was in the semi-finals. Cynthia bias. x3 But, as tempting as it is, I have no right to skew the results just in hopes of my favorite character having a place in a "Champions tournament". ...Of course, one little vote means nothing right now. In my opinion it would be fair because the characters who placed high in their game's bracket should be the only ones to move on. I think there are ten good characters in each of the games. I don't think it should be based on roster size. For example, I think Ylisse has some of the most quality character designs, but the roster system would leave them with fewer spots than most over the other games, because it's particular region (separate from Archanea) has only had one game really. If not that make up, then: FE2: 2 Magvel: 6 Every other region gets 11 = 55 battle royale for the last spot. Just giving ideas. Feel free to not use them. Edit: Saw your post on the main thread. Edit: Saw your post on the main thread. yeah, I'm considering adding a 3rd part to the mix because Archanea seems way underrepresented as is everything else seems fine though.... edit: also making a certain round doesn't quite guarantee you get the spot unless you make the finals, hence my comment on revenge voting being likely to backfire (thankfully for Palla fans, Catria didn't lose that badly though...!) amadeuscho Posted August 31, 2013 Share Posted August 31, 2013 I'm happy that Lucina won. She is one of the great characters from the game, and I think as a lord, she has popularity staying power. However, some of the people she overcame and didn't even challenge have a chance for revenge in ToC. As of now, Cherche, Morgan (F), Henry, Cordelia, Cynthia, Severa, Tiki, and either Maribelle or Gaius all have a shot at redemption. With her recentness and so many new fans from Awakening, she has to be one of the favorites of the tournament. But she also has a target on her back as a result. She also will get her fair share of haters from those who don't like Awakening (or even her). I really want to see how that plays out.
