Siegmund
I wasn't positive if it was public yet, I'm interested on starting a new project using it, instead of nightmare hacking. Does anyone know if it's available?
shadowofchaos
Not even people who are acquainted with Yeti have access to the engine tools.

VincentASM
I'd expect to see a crazy number of FEXNA projects if it was actually out : P
Pixelman
Why exactly do you ask this? Eventing is easy once you get it. Plus, XNA seems like you have to code, which is TWICE (maybe) as hard as eventing in FE6, 7, and 8. Don't try taking an easy shortcut, they're hard either way. Also, I don't think Yeti will release it because of what happened with FEXP. There's probably a slim chance though...
CT075
eventing is way harder than regular programming lol Edited October 19, 2013 by CT075
Jubby
^ that. not to mention any other kind of hacking in general.
Pixelman
eventing is way harder than regular programming lol Really? ... Man I'm such an idiot some times... someone plz hlps meh...
Thor Odinson
As a programmer by major I took one look at event code and went "NOPE" and went back to writing far more readable code
Pixelman
So, wait... you're saying Fire Emblem eventing is actually HARDER than coding? I'm going to learn coding, then >:D
blyegg
**is too lazy too pick up his C++ book** ... If XNA was released already (if it will be at all), I wouldn't be using it anyways.
NICKTâ„¢
I'd sooner use XNA, because I'm assuming it'd be less prone to just outright breaking, requiring you to start from scratch.
Thor Odinson
At the same level of complexity, yes Fire Emblem eventing is still easier than Operating systems coding for sure, but doing events and just assigning already-existing AI to units should be easier when it's a real programming language like what the fuck is event code I can't read that shit
Jubby
For me playing my game on the console is like really important to me :P But otherwise I'd have just been like fuck it and done the code instead. not saying that that's easy but i feel nearly certain it's less monotonous than hacking
Lamia
I also vouch for events being harder than actual programming try event coding in FE4 where there is seemingly innocuous reference data of varying lengths in places way off in another part of the ROM and sometimes don't even have a starting code for similar events Edited October 19, 2013 by Lorena
Pixelman
I like how this topic was about asking if you could download FEXNA Now it's a topic about programming. ... IT'S ALL BECAUSE OF MEH AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Jubby
It's more about the relative advantages of programming over hacking :P
