Does anyone else sleep with noise in the background?

I need my fan to go to sleep. 1. It gives a steady constant noise and helps to cover irregular noises (like snoring) that drive me crazy. 2. I'm always too hot, even in Winter, so I need my fan to be able to stay cool(I cannot go to bed if it's too hot).

I can sleep in any condition other than "fuck it's too hot"

^^^^^^

I've attempted to sleep without blankets once before but it feels so incomplete

Once my family couldn't afford air conditioning as often and so I had to keep sleeping with a fan on.

Now I can't sleep without one, or else the noise, whether from the highway or from the neighbours or from birds in the morning or just creaking of my house, will keep me awake.

Even during the cold I'll have a fan turned on, but pointed away from me.

At night, I always have my radio on, playing my local modern rock station.

I conditioned myself to do so in order to help me get a bit more sleep, since people being somewhat loud wouldn't affect me as much.

I have tinnitus and need at least a fan or two running when I sleep, even in the winter. I don't like electronic noise for sleeping because it always jolts me awake, though rainy noise websites seem to be the exception to that (but I can't sleep with the TV/music on or anything)
