Or maybe it isn't Ilyana, but the fact her support options are kinda lame.

take a shot every time a character dies

Take two shots when a proc activates and kills a unit when it wouldn't otherwise, critical hits included. Take another one if both the crit and the proc were required or if you recovered HP.

Take a shot when all parties miss in a fight.

Take a shot when Deadeye puts a target to sleep. Take another one if he or she was able to counter.

Take a shot when Tibarn Cancels a valid hit. Take two shots if it Cancels a proc.

Take a shot when a miss costs you a kill. Take another one if your character gets killed on the counter.

Take a shot if your Royal untransforms for any reason. Take another one if your opponent attacks him and another one if it's lethal.

Link Arena makes a great drunken nerd game along the lines of Super Mario Vodkart or Super Smash Bros : Barbrawl.

How does Vantage VS Vantage work??

I can't say but I just assumed it doesn't activate in response to somebody else's Vantage. Our database says it makes you always act first, but it's problematic to figure out how it would work with 2 users.

No idea if it can be tested for sure, either.

Also, I keep making tiny to big errors tonight, and I'm only drinking tea tonight! From keeping Naesala with Ike's portrait to accidentally forgetting Naesala doubles Ike for a second.

It's funny because Ilyana actually survives a round of combat against Naesala if she has a Laguzguard. Yours did when you sent me the team but I advised against it and urged you to protect your active units instead, namely Zihark. So if you hadn't listened to me, you'd... yeah you'd still need a Flare proc to finish Naesala off.

But a Laguzguard on Ilyana is clearly not useless, unless there's an Ilyana in each team ever (in which scenario how they fight against each other is important; pity you can't forge knives). She survives a round against Tibarn as well, apparently, but obviously not Giffca.
