Thank you I can't read Japanese.

Status update:

Main game for hard mode is probably gonna be finished before Christmas. There is just now way I can physically get it done today.

New Years might be a stretch to finish everything by, so expect the 10th of January. Looking ahead some of these levels can get very long. I'll probably do droppables and skills around the end of January.

From what is observable (skills wise) [Lunatic Mode]:

All non-boss skills are 0-2 Possible Class Skills; Hit+10 once that starts; 2 L+ skills if on L+.

[Possible Class Skills: Any skill that class can possibly have, except a few (like Dual-whatever, Armsthrift, Despoil and Lethality)]

Higher level enemies are more likely to have 2 Possible skills rather than 1 or 0. [Maxxed Skirms seem to always have 2, rarely 1. Basically never 0]

[Non-Skirmish] Bosses have static sets. Except on L+ mode, where two skills will be L+, but that's not entirely random [i.E. Grima and Walhart]

Other note:

Statistical Variance ceases somewhere along the line. [Once out of earlygame it seems]

At Cht.21, the enemies can start coming with three random class skills. Make note of that.

I currently have a Lunatic file that's on cht.23 (only done the first four Paralogues, Cynthia's, Inigo's, Morgan's and Tiki's) and a Normal file that's on cht.5 (haven't done P1 yet). Are there any particular holes around there I should focus on filling?

I think we need Chapter 25. And after that we only need paralouge 18 21,and 22. So any of those would be helpful. Edited by Randa

22 is the Doppleganger fight. It consists of 15 of the copy enemies. Stats and Skills are determined by your team.

Weapons are all B-rank [silvers, etc.] and follow the following Forge Rules:

Normal: Unforged

Hard: Forged

Lunatic(+): Hackforged

Enemies do experience gains, but that's kinda hard to calculate [you get the same results messing with Streetpasses].

A Levin Trickster died on turn 5 before I could check him so I don't know whether he had a Physic or not but it hardly matters. You have to realize that I did this on a no-grind file and it's not easy to clear out enough enemies so all the reinforcements can spawn, keep them under control without killing any on the turn they appear, and live to tell the tale. I never saw any enemies that lacked their Breaker/Faire, so I'm assuming that those skills always appear.

I checked the Trickster reinforcement and he only has a Levin Sword++. The -breaker and -faire rule appears hold for me, as well. The rest of the class skills still follow the 0-3 rule (although less than 3 seems to have a really low chance) for non-faire/-breaker units and 0-2 rule for -faire/-breaker units (I did this on Lunatic+, so I'm not sure 100% sure if this holds, as Lunatic+ skills may be overwriting the third class skill).

Link here for cross-checking, plus I've got Paralogue 21 data in there: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0ApH_7MMZU3kPdHJzUzM3QzNJNk1LUUJrXzBmRTdXWVE&usp=sharing

***Note that the -faire and -breaker skills always appearing seems to be a Chapter 25 thing. Paralogue 21 seems to randomize them again for the Swordmasters and Heroes. Which, I might add, is a really odd choice, given that Chapter 25 enemies are LV16 and Paralogue 21 enemies are LV20.

Thanks for checking the Trickster. I'm doing Lunatic+ at the moment, once I get to the later chapters I'll check which skills get overwritten. The only ones that I know are static are Pavise -> Pavise+ on Grima and PavGis -> PavGis+ on Walhart.

  • 2 weeks later...

So I took a look at chapter 22 and after a bit of research, I'm fairly confident that the stat boosts they receive in Lunatic(+) are not extra levels or stat multipliers, but static boosts according to class. I've collected my research and the conclusions in the 3rd and 4th tabs of my GDoc ( https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0ApH_7MMZU3kPdHJzUzM3QzNJNk1LUUJrXzBmRTdXWVE&usp=sharing ).

I am, however, missing a few entries that I could use some help with if anyone's got a save that happens to be right there. I don't own all the DLC (although I may get it in the future, but we'll have to see) and for some classes, I've run into issues with the caps prevent me from seeing the full extent of the boosts. Here's the list:

-Lord, Great Lord: both Chrom and Lucina have gotten far too many stat gains for an accurate count.

-Villager: I left his useless butt on the farm.

-Taguel: both Panne and Yarne have gotten far too many stat gains for an accurate count.

-Lodestar: the one I need data from is the LV8 one from DLC, because the Spotpass ones have stats that are too high.

-Dread Fighter, Bride: DLC

-Conquerer: a weird specialized one because it requires a third gen Morgan. Walhart's starting stats are too high.

If I may weigh in here, I'd expect all Berserkers and Warriors to be running Axefaire and Counter, respectively. Ditto for Generals and Pavise, Dark Fliers and Galeforce, and Tricksters and Acrobat.

Yeah, everyone has their Lv.15 skill except Tricksters who get it for Lucky 7 instead of Acrobat.

Most of those I'll do tomorrow, and Walhart!Morgan will take a while, but here are the ones I don't have to set up for:

Chrom@Great Lord:

HP: 53 -> 73

Str: 28 -> 41

Mag: 2 -> 2

Skl: 25 -> 35

Spd: 33 -> 42 (capped, need to redo)

Lck: 25 -> 38

Def: 24 -> 32

Res: 13 -> 20

Donnel@Villager:

HP: 26 -> 46

Str: 13 -> 18

Mag: 4 -> 4

Skl: 8 -> 13

Spd: 12 -> 17

Lck: 21 -> 26

Def: 11 -> 16

Res: 1 -> 3

Panne@Taguel: (without Beaststone boosts)

HP: 28 -> 51

Str: 8 -> 18

Mag: 1 -> 1

Skl: 9 -> 21

Spd: 10 -> 22

Lck: 8 -> 8

Def: 7 -> 15

Res: 3 -> 8

Notes: These foes copy tonics. Chrom had Str and Skl tonics leftover from Grima, and all the enemy Chroms had them. The Pannes have Beaststone+'s, and everyone else is holding Silver++'s in all their weapon types and Spear/Tomahawk++'s if they can. I'm going to check what happens if you try to give them DLC skills without the DLC installed next.

Thanks for the data. Never noticed that with tonics, although that's probably because I never used them for this map. I'm guessing surges must work the same way.

As for the gear, I had initially thought of not recording it because Airship mentioned it just using B-rank weapons and at first, that seemed to be universally true. But then I started to notice there were exceptions. Namely that Longbows and Physics show up, which are logical C-rank weapons. However, Tricksters (or any other sword-locked unit, IIRC) don't want to bring Levin Swords, which is really odd. Oh, and despite being a B-rank tome, there seems to be no love for Rexcalibur. It's something I decided to back-record because I'd already skipped doing it for about half my data already.

Also, it appears it sticks completely to the mirror-fight theme, even with Aversa. That is, the boss doesn't have any Lunatic+ skills on Lunatic+.

Yeah, everyone has their Lv.15 skill except Tricksters who get it for Lucky 7 instead of Acrobat.

Or tends to keep them when acquiring Lunatic+ skills, anyway. I'm still baffled as to why Heroes and Swordmasters don't have guaranteed Axebreaker and Swordfaire in Paralogue 21.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that this works for Streetpass teams too, save for weapons, which then are determined by the player's weapons and upgraded based on Level.

Also: Conqueror is Walhart only. It does not pass to Walhart!Morgan.

You can straight give him Limit Breaker to check though [since that'd give at least 10 stats of play room]

Huh, didn't know that he didn't pass it on. I guess in practice, if he's the only one with the class and his mirage has all capped stats, then it probably won't matter too much. But I may check for the heck of it. I have a feeling that even with Limit Breaker and no extra levels on original!Walhart's part, his mirage would cap Str.

Applying to Streetpass sounds plausible too. I guess if we've got a couple people who know each other and could rig up a checks on a few of the classes, we could verify. If not, I should be meeting up with someone else who owns FEA in about a month, so I can do it then.

I have two 3DSes and can check it sometime. Walhart hasn't been recruited yet on my Endgame Lunatic file so I'll grab him soon and check with Limit Breaker (might as well do that for Chrom while I'm at it). But remember that LB doesn't raise HP cap.

Cool, I look forward to hearing the results.

As for Walhart's HP, I guess there's nothing to be done about that. He can't possibly start with lower than the HP he has (which is already 80), so the modifier might as well just be 0. Odds are his Str will run into that too with LB, since he's recruited with that maxed and Str-heavy classes like his tend to get huge Str bonuses. Still, could be interesting to see what his other stats get.

Right off the bat, the HP on Grandmaster sticks out, a +19 Gain instead of +20, and the gains on DEF/RES were +6 instead of +7-- Everything else was +10 as expected.

Chrom just up and capped a ton of things but we've got an HP gain of 19 on him. DEF/RES were +7/6 respectively.

Fred's were as expected, with the exception of HP (23 instead of 24)

Virion on the other hand... 19 HP vs 23, 7 STR vs 9, 8 vs 10 Skill/SPD, 5 DEF vs 7, 3 RES vs 4. Everything was down a notch on him.

So, no Para 22 and Streetpass work differently, or at the very least don't have the same lunatic gains.

[Weapon rank was recorded for posterity's sake]

And amongst other things, Chrom's Falchion does just plain ole upgrade to the Exalted Falchion.

And I just don't get Gaius's Vulnerary. Anyone else with Healing Items got upgrades. Not him.
