Favorite Pokemon game, revised edition

Wow so much love for gen 3. In my opinion Hoenn is the worst reigon in terms of design, but it introduced a lot of cool pokemon.

I must say that my favorite gen is the 3rd one.

It has the nostalgia factor going for it since it's the first gen I actually owned. Other than that, most of my favorite pokemons are from this gen, I loved the theme, I didn't mind the abundance of water and liked the music. Also, I think this game had the best 'side contest'. I found the contest in it both entertaining and challenging to do, but I never was able to get into the ones the later games offered(super contest, pokeathlon, musical, movies, etc.)

As for spin-off, I'm gonna go with XD even though I really liked pokemon conquest.

It's really hard to pick my favorite spinoff, I love so many of them ;-; I think I'll pick Explorers of Time/Darkness, 'cause that gave me some serious feels.

Gen 3 definately. Nostalgia and my faves are the main reasons. Sapphire was just so awesome, Blaziken, Gardevoir and Roselia owned the game til the end until Kyogre said hi and solo'd Drake and Steven. The legendaries were so great although I actually don't like the idea of the regis because of the conditions to get them and the whole stuff with Relicanth and Wailord to open them chambers. Kyogre and Latias are simply enough for me. It was the poke game I soent more hours playing, like 370+hrs.

My second option would be Pearl, Platinum and SoulSilver, and Y of course.

Spinoff? XD! Imo, the best of them. Starting with different pokemon was the main reason for me to lo e this one. I did so many teams I can't remember. Vaporeon and Gardevoir were my first choice. I even used Jolteon, Gardevoir and Walrein, spamming Protect and Earthquakes. Even Claydol, lol.

Awesome games, though.
