Magical Glace
Sounds like fun, the tough enemies I mean, that's my favorite part. Being busy is okay, as long as your doing well. You'll like the dungeon near Howcastle.I like fighting bosses, but hate random encounters because multiple "weak" enemies overpower your party with their AOE attacks more than a boss does, especially if you're conserving resources for the boss. Thank the gods for the Staff of Ghent.

secondworld
Not yet, I'm on the Destiny's Drop place with the Golden Pickaxe. It's retarded. Navigation is hard, one mismove drops you several feet back... And the enemies can be tough to boot. Sounds like fun, the tough enemies I mean, that's my favorite part. Say, have either of you ever played the DS version of Final Fantasy 4???

Wait, don't answer that. I'll finish the GBA version first, heh.

That's a bit absurd I have blaze/icestorm ptsd.... Is it as hard as a typical DQ midgame? Wait, don't answer that. I'll finish the GBA version first, heh. How about regular f*cking enemies that KO your entire party in two turns, maybe even one if you run into multiple ones. There's also the Lugae fight, And that one Golbez fight(those of you who've played it, you know the one), And..... The CPU......... This might come across as rather negative, so I'll reiterate that I love this game and it's my favorite in the series. But that CPU... Acacia Sgt
Oh yeah, I remember those. Yeah, it was a chalenge, but I think they are still manageable with the right strategy.
Magical Glace
Is ally AI dumb as DQ or something? Because DQ Allies' AI is really stupid *cough Kiryl casts Whack on bosses rather than being the healer he's meant to be cough*

Yeah they could be beaten when you know what to do(elixir on Lugae, non-elemental weapons/spells against Golbez), but they're massive beginner traps, especially Golbez. I don't think there's anything to really help against the CPU though, aside from praying that you can take out the attack core before it gets two attacks in. Is ally AI dumb as DQ or something? Because DQ Allies' AI is really stupid *cough Kiryl casts Whack on bosses rather than being the healer he's meant to be cough* ? There is no ally AI, it's full control over everyone. I suppose taking out the Attack Node first, then the CPU, and save the Defense Node for last.
secondworld
I suppose taking out the Attack Node first, then the CPU, and save the Defense Node for last. Basically, though even then there's a good chance that you won't beat it in time. Then there's the matter of Fusoya's terrible advice before the battle. Then there's the matter of Fusoya's terrible advice before the battle. Ah yes, that's because in every other version, it's the Defense Node you need to take out first. But for some reason they didn't rewrote FuSoYa's text to reflect that.

FrostyFireMage
I see you lurking there Frosty Fire Mage. you saw nothink he did I believe it's the one that plays while fighting witches? correct me if I'm wrong here Frosty yes Pretty sure it is since 'Venari Strigas' is Latin for 'Witch Hunt' and it sounds like a battle song uh-huh I like it because it sounds like a mix between an admin fight in Pokemon and a battle theme from KH
