Nobody Posted September 10, 2015 Share Posted September 10, 2015 I'm honestly not patriotic or nationalistic at all toward Canada or Québec, I consider myself lucky to live in a country like Canada, but I don't feel a particular attachment to it. But opposite to a vast majority of my friends apparently, if I went to another country and people asked me where I was from I'd say I'm from Canada and not from Québec. I might mention the city, but I'm more likely to say I'm from Ottawa since it's more likely they heard of the capital than the smaller city right across from it.
