I would not use them to build anything... of course you wouldn't, you're not a civil engineer :p do you fear they're fragile or something? no need to worry, they can handle a lot of weight. Also, most people who aren't involved with construction don't really know this, but bricks and blocks aren't responsible for holding a building up, they're only there to separate it from the outside and the rooms within it.
