Jedi
Shezzy you notice how Devil Survivor 1 is more like SMT and how DS2 is like Persona? In tone and some mechanics I just realized lol. Edited April 17, 2015 by Jedi

Jedi
Yes. The alignment system is a bit more prevalent in DeSu1. It's way darker. More apocalyptic-ish. Though I still won't count it as traditional SMT. I don't think the alignments are represented well enough, and there would have to be some sort of cataclysmic event that destroys Tokyo. The world always ends in SMT. Welll Well Yuzu's ending pretty much is the apocalypse because you dun goofed.
Jedi
Sure. But Yuzus ending isn't very SMT to begin with. The closest parallel I can think of in traditional Smt would be the nihilist ending in SMT. But even after Yuzus ending you don't really shape the world. That's kind of the big thing in SMT. Making up a new world after the old one is destroyed. Not for all of the games/endings of course. But still. Alright I can't do this on my phone. You done made the world bad though.

Jedi
...I liked Yuzu's ending. Her reaction to everything is very realistic. I think she gets too much hate for it.
