Acacia Sgt
probably because us 'muricans wouldn't relaize it's supposed to be silent What? Isn't the T in the Ts not silent? That's the point of the Tsu kana, otherwise they'd just use Su and never bother with making one for Tsu... Kriemhild
we have the word tsunami But I doubt many people in America know how to spell it You mean pronounce it, not spell it. I'm not sure about America, but I don't recall it ever being mispronounced over here. Then again, I don't really interact with people much anyway... Kriemhild
Ooooh, I remember this from my Biology O Levels! Predators have eyes on the front so they can track their prey while they pursue it. Prey have eyes on their sides so that they can detect predators approaching from almost any direction. Kriemhild
No People pronounce tsunami as "sunami" I doubt many people know if the T in it Yeah, they're pronouncing it wrong then. I've never actually seen anybody spell it as "sunami", but eh, again, I don't have a rich enough experience to comment on that.
