It sure is a nice job. It's got its downsides, of course... like when you have to carry so much house-to-house mail in your shoulder bag that your shoulder hurts... or when it's raining so hard that you have to hide to keep the mail safe. Well, you could put it in your shoulder bag, but then you'd have to open and close the bag for every house you pass (which is a chore, especially when the bag is already full of house-to-house mail) and it still gets pretty wet. But I like doing it. It's a summer job, so it automatically ends on August 29th. I'm hoping to get a Saturday job after that though. Pretty confident I will get one (team manager said one of the reasons he hired me for the summer job was the prospect of me getting a permanent Saturday job after that). And it's not like I'm doing it for the money (it's €4.15 euros an hour - before tax deductions). It's just nice to have a job, do something useful. Right now, I'm filling in for my mom (who has vacation), so maybe I'll get one of her routes then. I don't know. It also would be nice to get a new one though.
