It went much better than I played it for the first time about 1,5 years ago. Back then I was wrekt by the first boss. Also will continue ToV and unpack Xillia 2 after almost one year. Completed Abyss and Xillia 1, but it's more than a year ago. In Symphonia I still must accustom to the battle system a little bit. However I think my skills in battles become better and better. The thing is that the new semester will begin in a couple of weeks which means: free time's over Hopefully I can finish one of the mentioned games in time. Sounds like me and Xillia 1, that game was sitting in the shrink wrap for 2 years. The only reason I opened it was because I had the dlc for it already. The Tales of series is the only RPG franchise I've completed parts yet. Completed Abyss and Xillia 1, but it's more than a year ago. If you don't have much time left, I wouldn't be trying to play a Tales game, unless you plan to sit down with it and nothing else. With Symphonia, don't let the open field in battle fool you, there is no legitimate free run. Movement is as linear as the old Tales games.
