One hand some of it can deeply disturb me, but at the same time it's really intriguing, and it draws me in, rather than repel me. Can occasionally be quite thought-provoking. So I feel like while it may be uncomfortable for me, I can also get a lot out of it. Stuff like dante's inferno, I have no mouth and I must scream, and edgar allen poe have influenced me a lot. It's funny though, I don't actually read horror works much, most of the time I just go off summaries. Which just goes back to that paradox I mentioned earlier, being disturbed by horror but also intrigued, haha. I see. I'm somewhat the same way, except me being disturbed varies on the content, but irrelevant. I tend to find that some horror games/novels/fiction etc have some quite interesting stories, like the Dante's Inferno you mentioned, but I can't remember head or tails of, sadly.
