I always get to either turn 10 or turn 11 and then everything goes to shit at the last minute

And that's when I decided to take a break because I've literally played this game all night

I like how when you lose a character it feels like your own fault instead of the game bullshitting you.

I just lost someone because crits are now 4x the damage instead of 3x. And it was the last enemy on the map.

Are you sure it wasn't just a Killer weapon? They have that ability now

It was mjolnir. All the description said was that it got crits more frequently. I guess it also powers them up.

Yeah, I had Jakob attack him since he should only had sustained 7 damage and with 275HP, he could survive 21 crit. Then bam 28 damage. gg me

ugh I don't know if I should give the Second Speedwind to Xander or to Leo. I gave the first one to Xander, but still...

Xander 17 SPD and Leo has 16 SPD, and both have Speedy pair up bots.

On a Conquest map, something similar but way more stupid (from my part) happened to me: It's a map with Ryoma, but you don't have to fight him at all, since the objective is "escape map". On the last turn, after every enemy but Ryoma was dead, I decided to attack him with Camilla to check if they had a special conversation. He would deal 10 damage to her, and wouldn't double, and she had 30 HP, so she'd survive it just fine, and on the same turn I'd escape with Corrin. I thought that stupid 5% critic wouldn't happen.

It happened, and it dealed exactly 30 damage.

So yeah, if it's not a killer weapon, crit = 3x normal attack

Holy shit chapter 10 is throwing me through a loop

I was not expecting a difficult defense map in my Fire Emblem

Chapter 10 is as hard as RD's 3-13, I shit you not. I was surprised when I let a pegasus knight get close to the red tiles because I forgot about it when the bosses and their mooks started zerg rushing together.

Now, if only all the bosses moved and were promoted units, it'd be a perfect beating.

So yeah, if it's not a killer weapon, crit = 3x normal attack

I second this, because I've tested and calculated their damages on a playthrough. Killer weapons deal 4x damage upon critting.

I'm playing Birthright on Hard/Classic.

That sucks. I would have been pretty angry if that happened to me (mainly at myself for not escaping when I had the opportunity)
