Serlis, shannan, and ares are plenty for most situations.

I agree with you though, but depending on the situation (and our definition of "useful unit") leif could win in terms of utility in thracia than in fe4.

For example, imagine going through chapter 9 and 10 without leif in fe4, and now imagine doing manster escape in fe5 without leif, which game would you rather have him in?

Oh yeah, forgot Shannan

One of four

I would make a Fahrman Experimental joke as usual... but it turns out, there is no F.E.5 in the aircraft line. It skips straight to F.E.6.

Or maybe that's the joke.

Aaaaand of course Leif gets killed by a ballista with 13 hit.

It's true. (Leif died on my FE4 playthrough, by the way, and it didn't give me any trouble with the rest of the game.)

Speed affects dodge rates more though, no?

I always thought luck's main function was protecting against crits though.

yeah, speed affects avoid more, but luck does it at half the rate iirc

luck's main use is indeed protecting from crits, but it also gives avoid and hit

I wish the luck stat could affect stuff like that. How? I dunno. It just needs to better haha.

You mean, instead of affecting avoid and hit, luck should affect how lucky you are with the RNG? I like that idea, though I don't know if a biased RNG would be a fun mechanic.
