my co-worker has this plan on how to change the education system

rather than having grades each subject will have a level and only until you've fully grasped a lesson can you move on

so you could be in level 6 math and level 9 english at the same time

also having classrooms be smaller

but that's just a dream ;u;

Sometimes, I like the lack of logic behind attacks.

Like, Reideen has three different attacks that all involve firing arrows.

One, is simply flinging an arrow without the bow. Another is the standard "bow and arrow". And the last is firing a whole bunch of arrows at once from the bow. All have ammo limits, naturally. But you can exhaust the ammo of one or two of them, but still use the other(s), even if it's clear it still has arrows for the other attacks that are now ammo-less. Hehe... not a big significance or anything... but I still like that detail.

And now defeated Lance. That's it for today.

I'm making good progress, even took down one of the Alpha Aziels (those things are the things bringing the most money on the stage, I focus the Lucky-users to land the final blows on them). Though on the bad side the super robots do have their HP values low. Then again, they aren't built to dodge... on the other hand, enemies in this stage aren't stellar in Accuracy either, so they do get the occasional dodge.

-reduce classroom sizes

-cut down on overtesting

-pay teachers more and get not-shit teachers

-make college-level classes actually simulate a college learning experience

-prepare kids better for college

-not wake up at miserable times

-get rid of summer, and instead put more breaks throughout the school year

-no busywork, less assignments, but have each assignment have more deep thought required and learning value.

-no daily classes

-less focus on brute memorization and encourage kids to think broadly on subjects.

though really a lot of it's problems just come from herd mentality and the nature of bureaucracy in general but oh well.

-make its cost skyrocket

Nah, the education system isn't the problem

every time i failed was due to my own incompetence or laziness

that said if I were a kid and you proposed to get rid of summer vacations i'd literally try to burn your house down

it's not like our current one's that cheap either

lots of wasteful spending.

im just talking about high school.

summer is dumb and outdated.

2 week breaks throughout the year would be better.

Oh well high school is a time long gone for me (can't believe it's been over 4 years since i finshed it lol), high school is very different in BR than it is in the US and i studied in a private HS so i wouldn't know

Still, the complaints seem to always be the same and i honestly don't see that many issues

They're too long. Enjoyable for a few weeks and then they're just mind-numbing.

I could appreciate that free time more doing the school year.

I'm tempted to make a list of things for you to do over the summer. :v

yeah i remember last year coming back from D.C in summer and thinking damn I still have a month left of vacation lol. This summer i'll be volunteering at a hospital and taking a chemistry course so that's cool I guess.

I'm the odd person who, after a long break, is sad of it ending

I guess i just love doing nothing

well I'm not exactly hyped about going back to school either, but,

you wouldn't need to face that devestation if breaks were more frequent but less lengthy.

get more to look forward too.

same actually.

Not really

At least in university, i'd have to study on these breaks

Class are only over when they're over

I can only truly relax on vacations
