Filler is somethingkinda natural in VNs, since they are so heavily reliant on text it is unavoidable to have boring parts one could just skip. I found it to be okay in Rewrite, but oh well. The final two routes impressed me due to Kotarou's developments. I considered him to be a great protagonist. http://funthingsarenotfun.com/2013/02/05/rewrite-review/ I do mostly agree with this review, even if I liked Rewrite less than the guy who wrote it. A question btw, did you play ML:A already? since that is one of the big ones I've yet to play. If so, how did you find it? tbf, it has the benefit of being like, a 10 hour game, which really helps it out. Yes, I played MLA. It absolutely redeemed Extra (though Unlimited already did a good job at that to an extent). And despite a couple really incredibly derp bits and facepalm arcs, it was a wild ride and the climax was superb. But I got over it eventually, and now I drive to work every day, and drive from North Alabama to Austin whenever I get off school. Trust me I didn't want to start driving either, and it REALLY didn't help when the second time I got behind the wheel I ran over my neighbours bushes.
