Kinumi Posted August 3, 2014 Share Posted August 3, 2014 but what is scum? what does that meaaaaaaaaan the game is like town vs mafia scum = mafia USUALLY, the town's wincon is to lynch all scum (aka mafioso), while scum's wincon is to achieve parity with town scum is usually outnumbered by town by 1:3 or 1:4 I think, but they have the advantage of being able to talk to their teammates and knowing who's town and who's maf (therefore ensuring that they would never kill one of their own) town outnumbers scum, but they are completely uninformed so they CAN kill one of their own by mistake. also, the game is split into day / night phases. during the day, everyone comes together (including mafia) and discusses the most suspicious-looking person. at the end of the day, the person with the most votes will be LYNCHED. they may or may not be actually scum. during the night, no one can talk. except for MAFIA, since each night they choose someone to kill (usually the most skilled townie) and stuff. I don't think I'm making any sense. If I ever played mafia, and didn't get the role of mafia, I'd instantly ragequit the game, lol.
