The definition of a counter is something that can come in reliably, not be threatened by the opposing Pokémon, and forces the opponent to either do a wild prediction and/or switch out. Scrafty's getting demolished if it gets hit be one of Breloom's Fighting moves. It's a check*, and that's only if it has Poison Jab

*Check is something that comes in 100% safe, like from Baton Pass or switching after your Pokémon has fainted

Mmm... okay.

nevermind had it backward

I was about to say. haha

poison jab can at least smack breloom hard if it hits

I've been testing Breloom, and I think with Scrafty's bulk it can most likely take one mach punch as long as the breloom isn't adamant choice banded or something like that

from what I've seen though jolly is preferred

spore is actually what I'd be worried about but with DD I should outspeed

Dusk I'm not sure if you're still here but basically

Say I'm fighting something that can't touch ScraftySo I send in Scrafty and DD while they switch out to Breloom

They mach punch, and Scrafty (I'm pretty sure) is bulky enough to take one

I poison jab and OHKO it

that's what I mean by counter by Breloom, I was mistaken on the definition
